Thanks for wasting my time. I noticed in the app comments that virtually every one has a negative experience with this app but the problems are never corrected Then I called the Simpsonville SC store to get help and was put on hold by the manager Donna ? You don’t even know where your stores are??? Second I can’t find a way to look at the menu!!! Guess I don’t need to look at the menu because there isn’t a store anyway! I usually don’t do this but this app is so hard to use for no reason. It won’t let me sign in with my email because it says I have an invalid password when I click forgot password it says no email associated with an account. Super annoying. It’s alway done this. Why ask people to make an account if they can’t use it. And it never saves your order in your cart this whole process so I had to keep picking out my food only for the system to tell me I don’t have an account and clear my cart again. After it was all said and done I just decided to just go to Applebees and I deleted the app. Save yourself some headache and call to place your orders. ### 1/5 — No rewards *2023-01-23, version 22.14.2022082401* You can’t redeem your rewards if you use the app and order online, which is completely a waste of time having the app makes no sense I just read a review from over a year ago for the same issue yet it remains please do not waste your time downloading old Charlie’s app!!!!!! ### 1/5 — Cannot scroll through menu items *2023-01-14, version 22.14.2022082401* It is extremely frustrating trying to scroll through menu categories. Trying to scroll up through categories usually results in scrolling sideways through each category and so it is very unintuitive to try to solve the puzzle of where to touch the screen to get the menu to scroll up and down rather than side to side. And scrolling side to side is unsatisfying as well, as it does not behave like typical swipe scrolling on a touchscreen device, and only moves if your finger is on the screen, i.e. you can’t swipe and let it scroll then use your finger to stop the scroll. Overall, horrible interface that results in a negative, frustrating off-putting app. If you want to order from O’Charley’s online you are much better off using the website on a tablet. ### 1/5 — Awful can’t sign in *2023-01-09, version 22.14.2022082401* Absolutely horrible that you can’t log in or change your password you guys should be ashamed it’s years later and I have the same complaint others did as of today . I called and was prompted to leave a message for a call back . Of course nothing happened . This is just sad and a big corporation should not be like this ### 1/5 — Trickle Down Effect of Your Disastrous App *2022-10-10, version 22.14.2022082401* We had a free appetizer reward for signing up for the O’Club The app would not work. We waited over one hour for the manager to try to get the reward redeemed so we could cash out and leave the restaurant. The location was Summerville, SC. Our waitress, Courtney ended up in tears because she was trying to help get our bill; while several of her other tables were not understanding of the issue and did not leave her tips. She lost money due to your pathetic app, we lost an hour waiting. But the most alarming aspect of this experience is for humans with a total lack of understanding for issues that do occur. Why? We were already two hours behind schedule but wanted to stop for lunch! I called O’Charley’s asking if they would take our order & have it ready for us to eat it. They were willing & everything was perfect! Ordering online does not allow redemption of the rewards. There is no side salad listed on the menu for online ordering. The reward instruction does not specify that it can only be redeemed in the restaurant. Please make updates either stating “only in restaurant” or add a side salad on the menu. But anytime I tried to go back it would clear out my basket. So after three tries I finally made it to the checkout point without losing my order, it said my free appetizer would be applied...but it never was. I followed the instructions and reset my password, same thing. I used a different secure data connection, same thing. I power cycled my device and started over, same thing. There hasn’t been an app update in almost a year! I think it’s time or else your performance will continue to degrade and you will lose customers and get poor ratings.
