I don’t always know which races I want to do, but often know which weekends I am available. This app has saved us hours and hours of searching for races when we are planning a new season. Now we are able to look for events that may affect us in only a few moments. The amount of support OCR buddy offers race directors is something we didn’t expect to be given due to the size of our company, but Russ treats all companies evenly. It’s a one stop shop with every feature needed to create and manage my season from start to finish. I love the fact I can search for and add races right from the calendar. It definitely doesn’t hurt that I have friends and teammates using this app as well and I can see whose signed up for which races. Navigating the app couldn’t be easier. It is easy to find any and all OCR events to fit your athletic or competitive needs! I haven’t found another app like this. Even better you can export the app race calendar to another program if you wish! Great product! ### 5/5 — Simple the best OCR app *2017-11-24, version 1.16* The best app around for someone who runs obstacle courses....a one stop shop listing all the events around making it so easy to see which events you want to do and if they coincide with another. So many different ways to filter the events....by state, mud, swag, children friendly, who puts it out to name a few. Then you can also add buddies that do races with you and then it will tell you what races they are signed up for as well. No more pulling up everyone's websites and comparing dates! ### 5/5 — OCR Buddy Is A Lifesaver *2017-03-17, version 1.7* EASY OCR Buddy is an app you can download onto your phone which is a user friendly Obstacle Course Racing calendar. It allows you to connect with your friends, find races around the world, and provides you with promo codes if there is one available. Amazing, right!? This little tiny app on my phone has now become my go to in planning races. Not only can I easily access it, but if I know a race is happening and don’t see it, I can add it! That’s right, Russ has made this app super user friendly. You don’t have to be a genius to use it, or have your 8 year old show you how it’s done. I’ve used race calendar apps in the past and they have either frozen on me, only included a few races here or there, or were so frustrating I instantly deleted them. OCR Buddy is not like that at all. The process has been simplified and I not only can easily access my local Florida races, but it has races all around the globe! All I have to do is change a filter and BAM, I can see what race is happening in Italy. Race Listing OCR Buddy is a must have for us Obstacle Course Racers. I promise it will make your life so much more easier. I also may add that it’s $1.99 to purchase. That’s less than a cup of coffee these days. You can also feel good about the purchase because 20% of profits are going back to charities that assist veterans, and those who are fighting cancer. I love how easy it is to filter events to find the perfect ones for you. I had decided that I would mix things up in 2024 and try a lot of different brands. I found bouncing from web page to web page to plan my year to be an extremely daunting task. I was about to give up when a friend suggested OCR BUDDY. It has been a game changer! A single site that allows me to scan for brand, location and race type, OCR BUDDY does it all. Links to race websites help to facilitate registration. The APP is updated frequently so new races are always popping up. There is even a new races page so you can find them! This is true not only for OCRs but other races as well.
