My only seemingly simple l suggestion would be maybe add a set of touchable pads. If it’s not too much to implement. I would love to be able to play all of my drum apps within this app and not have to pre-map all my midi drum apps. Save me so Michael Eldridge time. Das macht doch sonst jeder Drumsequenzer über die Midispur. In Drambo habe ich das über die Automation hinbekommen. You connect it to any AUv3 (even melodic) and take advantage of using a step sequencer to lay out patterns, use probability and more. Always thinking about enhancements though, that I believe should not kill this simplicity : - even though it’s focused and should probably stay focused on drums, its melodic capabilities should be enhanced a bit like what you can find on Roland & Elektron grooveboxes - as it works standalone, hosting Auv3s in addition to being one would be great. Will be reserving my fourth star for an enhanced version. But I strongly recommend this app, especially if you want to sequence only drums. ### 5/5 — Really great sequencer *2024-12-01* For quickly laying down a beat this is one of the first plugins I turn to. With its built in support for many iOS drum machine, it’s just super quick and easy to set up and get going. I love these plugins which just do one thing really well. The only request I would have would be the option to record drums live into the sequencer as you can do in Patterning 3. For lo-fi and other genres I like to play things in manually and then fine tune the performance in the app to give it a genuinely ‘human’ feel. That said, this doesn’t detract from this plugin at all - it’s perfect as a drum sequencer as is - but I would love to see this feature in a future update if possible. **Developer response:** Thank you very much! This has completely stopped my latest projects that include octachron. I’m not sure if it’s because these were larger sessions, but before the latest update these projects had no issues. I tried contacting the developer on one of the other platforms directed to by the site and was unable to get a response, so I’m posting here. But we didn’t write anything about a record option in our descriptions, did we? It is a nice option though, but also a big one. We plan to implement it in the future. Other sequencers can change patterns by being sent midi notes - this can’t. It’s so close to being great but it’s only really usable if you only want one pattern. Its simple and easy to use but with complex features for all your sequencing needs. It has offset, probability, repeat, velocity, mutate, random generator, presets for so many drum apps and hardware, and much more. Can play notes or send CC data as well.
