But it won’t let you update prices for stations you were just at, even if you didn’t have cell service at the station. It should be based off of the location of the photo you try to post, not your current location. **Developer response:** Ah, I can change this and push a release soon. Stay tuned! ### 5/5 — Incredibly underrated Gas App. *2025-06-28* Saved me so much money when I found out a gas station a few miles from me is almost constantly 20+ cents lower than my closest station! Restarted the app, uninstalled/reinstalled—nada. EV loaded without issue. Also, I don’t see an option to filter by ethanol-free gas. Meaningless if the data doesn’t load anyway, but assuming that gets fixed omitting ethanol-free is a big miss for this type of app. **Developer response:** I had a fix for the issue within a day but had to wait for Apple to release it. V2.0.0 is out now with a bunch of extra features. I could add a filter for ethanol free gas and add user reporting to keep track. There aren’t any data sources out there to my knowledge with this data readily available so it would have to be crowd sourced (v2.0.0’s big feature) ### 5/5 — Cleanest fuel companion app *2025-03-19, version 1.6.0* Extremely clean and responsive app. I require 93 octane and specifically only use Shell and OctaneBuddy makes it very easy to filter any gas you need.
