### 5/5 — Very good

*2026-07-09*

I’ve been using it for the past few months, and it really makes you aware of how much you’re actually practicing. Very cool to see all the analytics as well.
However, when playing the violin it doesn’t pick up the high notes and stops recording which can be very frustrating when I have long sections of very high notes. So please fix that!

### 5/5 — Game changer

*2026-02-15*

This app truly motivates me to practice. It helps build routine, is absolutely great for sharing tunes with my tutor, and for my students to share tunes with me.
The long term tracking is excellent for seeing my practice trends and reminding myself of what I should do, and what I can do. Being able to set goals and track how I feel after a practice is great too.
Totally game changer, I’ve totally transformed my practice routine because of Octero

### 4/5 — Well Rounded App

*2025-07-31*

This app is a very useful tool for those how like to see how they are practicing compared to others and who maybe a bit competitive with their fellow musicians.

I really enjoy the social aspect and the recording feature.

Seeing the percentage of play vs rest helps keep me accountable too.

I wish there was an option to share the recording either with all my connection, some, or a specific one within the app.

As I am at the start of my bagpipe journey this app is really beneficial for my continual improvement and keeps me inspired/motivated.

### 5/5 — Amazing app for making me a better musician

*2025-07-07*

MusoLink has been a fun way of keeping me engaged with my practice routine. I really enjoy keeping track of the sessions and listening to them!

### 5/5 — Great for Efficiency and Motivation

*2025-06-18*

The recordings show an efficiency rating based on how long you played with the session, which helps a lot with tracking how much you’re actually practicing. The strava-like statistics are such great motivators to keep up a streak and stay competitive with your friends.
Only concern is the possibility of the app taking up a lot of space due to long recordings, but could definitely see the option of offloading old recordings proving helpful.

### 5/5 — The best motivator

*2025-06-07, version 2.9*

This app has been great as a motivator and for tracking, reviewing and recording my practice routines. Some weeks I want to beat my follower list, others I just want to keep beating my pb’s. The recording feature is brilliant for sharing, especially for zoom lessons.
Very quickly it becomes a habit to use and keeps me very try accountable for my own work.
The continual upgrades should see this app become an indispensable practice tool.
It certainly has been a big factor in my recent improvements.

### 5/5 — Strava for musicians

*2024-08-14*

Smooth app for igniting the competitive spirit and accountability amongst musicians passionate about their craft, making solo practice feel closer to a group.
