## What is Octopus Cloud?

Octopus Cloud connects your point of sale to your accounting, then turns that data into answers you can act on. Built for independent retailers and restaurants.

ASK YOUR SALES ANYTHING
Chat with your own numbers in plain English. "What were my best sellers last month?" "Which categories are slowing down?" No reports to build and no spreadsheets — just answers, free every day.

FOR RESTAURANTS
• Prime Cost — labor % and food cost % together, the one number every operator runs on
• Food cost by category and menu item, month over month
• Menu mix, dayparts and your busiest shifts
• Hours by job code, overtime and sales per labor hour
• Daily sales posted to QuickBooks as one balanced journal entry

FOR RETAILERS
• Inventory Brain — demand forecasts, reorder alerts and dead stock, SKU by SKU
• Open to Buy — exactly what's left to spend this month, by category
• Vendors and open purchase orders in one place
• Sales forecast built from weather, local events and your own history

BOTH SIDES OF YOUR BOOKS
Your point of sale tells you what sold. Your accounting tells you what it cost. Octopus Cloud is the bridge between them: sales, tax and tender types flow into QuickBooks Online automatically, so your books stay current without an evening of data entry.

CONNECT IN MINUTES
Connect your point of sale once and we handle the rest — finding your locations, working out your time zone and importing your recent sales history. No setup project, no consultant.

ALSO ON THE WEB
Sign in on a computer to match vendor invoices against your purchase orders, catch price and quantity differences before you pay, and keep a searchable library of your POs and bills.

WHO IT'S FOR
Independent restaurants, cafés and bars. Single-store and multi-location retailers. Anyone who knows their numbers matter but doesn't have time to assemble them by hand.

An account is required. Connecting QuickBooks Online is optional — the dashboard and AI advisor work without it.
