With the Octopus Fleet payment card - powered by VISA - businesses and drivers have access to spending beyond public charging. Food, fuel, car wash, tolls...with smart controls it can be used on anything and everything needed to keep your fleet moving.

With the Octopus Fleet payment card and wider Octopus Fleet platform, your businesses can easily manage all elements of fleet operations - regardless of where you are in the electric transition. Octopus Fleet customers also have access to the following benefits:

- With the management platform, fleet admins get total oversight. Everything's in one place, so you can view charging insights and patterns, manage driver profiles and e-fuel cards with just a click, and access receipts and customised reports whenever necessary. It's all about having the info you need, right when you need it.
- Cost efficiency and oversight are priorities, and through the platform, businesses can easily spot where to save money by diving into detailed reports on how/where their drivers spend, and where habits can be changed to save on cost output.
- There is no fixed contract, meaning businesses can opt out whenever!
- Payment is taken by a once-monthly Direct Debit. The payment date can be selected by businesses once their Electroverse account has been successfully created.

This update brings highly requested features and improvements based on your feedback.

What's New:
We've cleaned up biometric lock and auth flow to improve security
Added clearer error messaging to help users understand where things went wrong and how to fix

Improvements:
Reworked some of the tab indicators in the cards view to make loading clearer
Fixed an issue with long list of transactions not loading reliably
Updated our behind the scenes security infrastructure to keep all our data secure

### 1.3 — 2026-05-27

The latest app version ships with some highly requested new features and behind-the-scenes improvements. As ever, thanks for all the great feedback! It helps us refine the app and create an ever-improving payments management solution.

New Features:
Driver Notes: Now you can add notes to your transactions to record important information that you and your administrators can see.
New Transactions UI: A major redesign of the transactions and home screens to make viewing and filtering incomplete transactions easier.

Improvements & Fixes:
Fixed an issue where the app would open but remain unresponsive, requiring users to log out.
Added clearer messaging if a receipt is invalid or if there is an issue with your camera during upload.
Other behind-the-scenes bug fixes and performance improvements.

### 1.2 — 2026-03-16

Fuel data in transaction details
You can now see fuel type and other fuel data right there in your transaction details — no more guessing what you charged up with.

Smoother receipt uploads
If a receipt gets flagged as invalid, you'll now see a clear option to report it as missing or re-upload. We've sorted out a few edge cases with the receipt status banner too, so things should look and behave exactly as you'd expect.

Biometric sign-in improvements
We've tidied up how biometric authentication works so it's more reliable — whether you use Face ID, fingerprint, or anything in between. We've also fixed a couple of edge cases around session handling to keep things secure without getting in your way.
