Pros: This game’s animation is fun and the Oddbods running and expressing themselves while crashing into colorful, extraordinary obstacles is just........funnier. All the events like the Halloween and Christmas events make this a changing, fun game, unlike Sonic Dash, which only shows the same time and season. Oddbods also lets you have easy access to all tracks while just starting, while Sonic Dash makes you unlock tracks as you go, with Red Star Rings and gems.......things that aren’t easy to get unless you pay....and one of their 650 red star ring offers cost more than 100$.They do,though let you select your starting track. Cons: This game could be a possible rip-off following SonicDash (not extremely possible because I don’t know when each game was released first ) but both games were released from different studios . This game also has a glitch that makes me run slower and whenever I attempt to pivot, duck, or dodge and obstacle, it acts like I already hit that obstacle. I thought it was rigged for a while, however proof was revealed when I got him. I love this game and my sister does too! But I have a question. Is there any other boss than the alien? I am asking because rumor went around that there was another boss called “giant hamster”. I have not seen this character in the gameplay so far though. I tried to go through Apple and there is nothing they can do because it is an in app purchase with this game. I filed a claim and tried to dispute it, both were denied. My 5 year old son, who clearly doesn’t understand the value of money, purchased 3 things from your app onto my card. It is a total of $250 and I need to dispute the charges. It was done on his iPad, under his iCloud account. I went to restore my purchases in settings and it said they won’t restore character purchases. I go to support and of course the link is broken. This company is a fraud and I have spent almost $40 on it that I’ll never get back!!!! They didn’t even hide it as if the look at sonic dash and thought its okay to rip it off . IT NOT OKAY. This should be removed as soon as possible. Play the real one this is a rip off. Unnecessary! *2019-10-30, version 1.4.0* I have played this game for a while now and recently an event popped up for Halloween. The event requires you get pumpkins in the game and when you reach 666 pumpkins you win an Oddbod to use. This is unnecessary and should be removed or the number should be changed to a number that doesn’t have a double meaning. ### 1/5 — Takes $ to unlock characters *2019-04-20, version 1.0* Only issue i have compare to other running games is the character unlock. They want you to pay $9 to unlock each were other running games you could unlock by completing task. Its the same repetitive level nothing new ### 2/5 — Started out Good... *2020-04-28, version 1.6.3* My son loves Oddbods and when we found out there was a game on iOS, we had to try it. The game has ads but you can pay a small fee to remove them. I believe in supporting the developers, artists, etc. that make these products, so we paid the small fee to remove the ads. After removing the ads the game has been awful. The frame rate glitches so often, it makes it aggravating to play. This is exacerbated because this is a touch screen game. The character will fail to jump, move left or right and hit an obstacle. Sometimes the character will fall through the map, instead of jumping on the trampoline. The other thing to consider is the age of children playing the game. The game ask you to create a profile and enter your age. The game difficulty should scale with the age or age groups. To summarize, we paid to remove the ads and now have a sub par game to play. I hope the studio is reading the reviews and addresses some of the issues.
