Quitting gambling is not a matter of willpower. It is a matter of having something between you and the betting app at the worst moment of the day. That is what OddsOut is. They teach you to watch the wave until it passes, which is what works. THE BLOCKER You choose the betting apps on your phone and OddsOut covers them when you open them, using the iPhone's Screen Time. It keeps working with the app closed and after you restart the phone. You can turn it off whenever you want — we never lock you out of your own phone. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO THIS ALONE Odd is a companion who is always there to talk. The community is anonymous: you join with a nickname, never with your name. There is a forum, groups by type of addiction, and the chance to find someone walking the same road. And there is a directory of psychologists, for when that is the next step. WHAT IS YOURS STAYS YOURS The journal is encrypted on your phone, with a key that never leaves it. We cannot read it.
