## What is Odeka?

Odeka is a simple planner for a day out. Pick a date, pin the places you want to visit on a map, and see your whole day at a glance.

PLAN ON A MAP
- One plan = one day. Give it a title and a date
- Pin places by searching, tapping spots on the map, or long-pressing anywhere
- Pins are numbered in visit order and connected with a dotted route

EVERYTHING IN ONE PIN
- Add notes, a link (shop page, reservation, article), start / end times and images (like a transit screenshot) to each pin
- Tap a pin to see the details, swipe to flip through your stops
- Open directions in Maps — from your current location or from the previous stop

WORKS WITH YOUR CALENDAR
- Get plan suggestions from events in your iPhone calendar
- A reminder the evening before an event you haven't planned yet

KNOW THE DISTANCE FROM HOME
- Save your home or other places as My Spots, and every pin shows how far it is
- Open directions from a My Spot in Maps with one tap
- Keep a to-do checklist for each plan

KEEP WHERE YOU'VE BEEN
- Tap "Been there!" on a pin to record the date, a short note and photos
- The Visited tab shows every place you've been on a single map
- A reminder the day after helps you record your day out

SIMPLE AND PRIVATE
- Your plans and photos stay on your device. No account, no tracking

Odeka is made for everyday outings: a bookstore crawl, a cafe hop, a stroll in a new neighborhood. Make tomorrow's plan in a minute, enjoy the day, and keep where you've been.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.0 — 2026-10-06

- My Spots: save places like your home (up to 3). They show on the map, and each pin shows the distance from them with directions
- To-do list: keep a checklist for each plan, even before you decide where to go
- Pin images: attach images such as a transit screenshot to a pin, and pinch to zoom
- The map now moves so a tapped pin stays visible above its sheet
- Holidays no longer appear in calendar suggestions

### 1.2.0 — 2026-10-02

- Visit log: tap "Been there!" on a pin after your day out. Keep the date, a short note and photos (up to 4 per place)
- New Visited tab: look back at everywhere you've been on a single map. Repeat visits are gathered into one pin
- Next-day review: a card on Home and a reminder help you record your day while it's fresh
- Choose the time of your reminders in Settings
- Fixed an issue where the day-before reminder was sometimes not delivered
