At first, it worked perfectly fine, but the more I’ve used it, the more issues I’ve experienced, and it’s become incredibly frustrating. The biggest problem is that my upcoming bookings have disappeared from the app more than once. I don’t mean just one booking, I mean every single one. This meant I couldn’t access options like changing my seat because, according to the app, I had no upcoming bookings. Thankfully, I’d already saved my tickets to my phone’s wallet, so I was still able to travel. I’d strongly recommend everyone does the same, just in case this happens to them. Another major issue is that, especially later in the day, the app often won’t load at all. At first, I thought it was my internet connection, but after checking Twitter/X, I realised plenty of other people were experiencing the exact same problem, so it’s clearly not an isolated issue. When the app actually works, it’s simple, easy to use, and straightforward. Unfortunately, its reliability lets it down, and for an app that people rely on to access their tickets and bookings, that’s a serious problem. ### 2/5 — Super slow *2026-07-28, version 5.14.000* This app is super slow.. even the website. When I book a ticket and try and pay I get an error message telling me to book later and that my request cannot be processed right now. So I leave it and come back later however when I try to book it says ‘limitless plus can’t be used twice for the same booking. THE ORIGINAL BOOKING HASNT GONE THROUGH SO I HAVE NO BOOKING AT ALL!!!! And ghen the only way to resolve this is by going to the cinema in person - this is completely useless when you want to see a film that is popular and will probably have a full screen. Odeon need to fix this glitch ASAP. This has happened to me around 10 times. Its especially worse when you try to book tickets for others aswell. The auditorium requires silence. No tampering with your mobile phone., no torchlight beaming out of your phone blinding patient movie goers, lets stop patrons from bringing their groceries into the auditorium and most importantly stop cheeky patrons from jumping substandard seats and without paying for the Unlimited Premier plus membership they deme it acceptable to bring their entire group into the exclusive leather seating extra leg room and tables zone bring with them their bad habits which include talking and rustling large packets of crisps and opening can after can of pop — all of the above disturb the elite Premier plus patrons who are persistently ignored. Whether it’s a blockbuster, an indie film, or a late-night screening, Odeon still makes cinema feel like an event rather than background noise. As someone who works around film and storytelling, I also appreciate the simple ritual of it all: the trailers, the sound design, the shared reactions in the room, and that moment when the screen lights up, and everyone disappears into another world for two hours.
