Bad Businessperson? Developer that ran out of money to fully develop a tool? *2024-12-21, version 1.9* This is a SCAM. They collect $1.99 or $4.99 for at least the first year automatically if you click subscribe. You can easily cancel? But they already charge your account unless you dispute the charge. For some, it’s a hassle to dispute such a small amount so OFoggy continues to collect the $$$. $1.99 or $4.99 per person for a however many people subscribe for NO value in return. What a sweet deal for this software developer, eh? The app doesn’t work at all from the moment subscribed. The screen just freezes before any webcam image even has a chance to load! I had to get a new credit card because they incorrectly charged me and, months later, I'm getting emails that my payment information needs to be updated because they're still trying to charge me. The subscription is still good for another two weeks, but I can’t access the cameras already. When you login, you select the facility, so why can’t they apply the same password to every WebCam within the facility? The video is practically unwatchable, and stops and starts in fits. The streams are less than one frame per second and it crashes constantly. After it decided to log her out, she tried to log back in using use this device and it removed her subscription. But I thought I would give it a try and am glad that I did. It worked perfectly fine. I have an iPhone 7 and have not had any issues. It is on live update and no problem’s whatsoever. ### 5/5 — Works great *2022-06-04* I have used ODoggy for 10+ years in my facility without any issues. There are things that happen locally that can affect how the app works, but the app itself works great and i use it literally everyday of the year. I would always call the facility first to see if there are problems on their end first, as many times we don’t know what’s happening since we are using the internal feed. Any technical issues get resolved very quickly, they have the same staff still there for over 10 years. As far as not being able to cancel simply go into your App Store and cancel the subscription. I have to board my 4 dogs and 3 cats quite often, and this really helps. I see people saying they can’t cancel their subscription. To do so, you must go into your settings on your phone to cancel the subscription. Love being able to watch my doggos both inside and outside in their play yards for a cheap price! ### 5/5 — Decent App/Great Customer Service *2019-10-29* To be honest, the quality of the video wasn’t that great but it got the job done. I only need it to check in a few times a day on my dogs while they were boarded & it allowed me to do that. The only downfall is that you do have to sign up for a subscription, you are able to cancel that subscription at any time with no fee added. I did cancel & end up getting charged one additional month which come on... it’s under $2.00 so not that big of a deal. But I did contact the Online Doggy customer support team by Email & within a matter of minutes a very nice gentleman called me & apologized for the inconvenience, he helped me step by step on my phone to make sure I was completely unsubscribed. All & all I do think it is a good app, sometimes they just have to work out all the kinks to get them right. I think the customer service is what really sold me on it & I would definitely use it again in the future if I need to!
