### 1.18 — 2026-08-01

Voice answers are now hands-free: correct answers are checked automatically after you speak. You can also tap Check while the microphone is still listening—there’s no need to stop recording first.

You’ll still see the live waveform and transcription while speaking, with clear controls to stop or cancel whenever you want.

### 1.17 — 2026-07-28

Oekelino is now focused entirely on your own Italian learning. We removed the unreliable Friends, profile, and online account features while keeping quick sharing through the standard iOS share sheet.

Your saved words and learning progress stay in place. This update also expands and verifies the app's backup format so streaks, practice progress, collection details, preferences, and rewards are preserved together.

### 1.16 — 2026-07-26

Friends works now. Requests, shared words, and your friends' collections were being sent but never arriving — everything flows both ways again. If people tried to add you while this was broken, their requests have been waiting all along and will appear the first time you open Friends.

Signing in is steadier too: a slow or half-awake iCloud connection no longer reports your handle as already taken, and the profile screen now says plainly whether sync is working.

### 1.15 — 2026-07-10

Verbs now teach their forms, not only their meanings. Once a verb has settled in your collection, practice turns to its conjugations — the present first, then the past and the imperfect as each one takes hold. The forms you keep missing come back more often, and revealing an answer shows you the whole verb at once.

Refreshes the App Store screenshots so the main image shows an actual practice question.
