### 1/5 — Not intuitive and sulfur calculator is wrong

*2015-10-02*

Tried using this to do a test calculation of adding PMS to a wine and it was utterly confusing. In the end it did not appear to calculate the amount correctly and was totally baffling. I want this work, but it really needs improvement

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2014-05-20*

Easy to use? Ha!
I understand the need for some people to know every detail about a potassium metabisulfite addition, but it would be much more useful if I could calculate a so2 calculation on the fly. How many grams do I add to 1000 gallons if I want to bump my sulfites by 20ppm? This is a simple calculation in my laptop spreadsheet. I was simply hoping for an app that could give me this, and ph corrections using tartaric or citric acid.

### 1/5 — Not very useful for home winemaker

*2013-04-01*

All it needs is a couple of more decimal places for the sulfite calculator for the home winemaker or small winery. Right now if you try to use a barrel like 110 liters, it will round the sulfite solution volume needed to 0.0 L. But obviously there needs to be more significant figures, so developer please fix this, add like two more sig figs and this app will be nice. Then I will change my review to closer to 5 stars.

### 2/5 — Not intuitive or useful for most winemakers

*2012-04-22*

This is a tool more enologists and university students than for the average home or professional winemaker. It has the potential to do quit a bit but only if you already have an understanding (beyond winemaking knowledge) of the complex science and chemistry behind the function. Case in point, the SO2 screen offers a lot of input options to calculate the free, total and active SO2 available in the wine.

This is great, if you really want to get into the fine details but if all you want to know is how many grams K-Meta you need to pitch to add 35ppm to your 1200 gallons of Sauvignon Blanc, you're going to be awfully frustrated trying to use this app.

The entire app is just not very user friendly or intuitive. It will take several hours (and investment in $60+ wine chemistry textbooks) to master and truly make this app a useful tool for the vast majority of professional and home winemakers.

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2011-12-05*

The most incomprehensible user interface I've ever encountered in an app -- absolutely no sense of context or process. Total waste of a download.
