## What is Off By One?

Among a neat grid of geometric shapes, just one is slightly off.

There is no timer. No hurry. Just a quiet moment of seeing.
On the train, between tasks, before sleep —
a small ritual to bring your focus back.

■ 35 stages, 3 difficulty modes
Stages 1–20 use a 4×4 grid. Stages 21–35 use a 5×5 grid.
Each stage consists of 5 puzzles.
Choose Easy, Normal, or Hard to play at your own pace. The leaderboard ranks Hard only.

■ Endless mode
4×4 Hard. The puzzles get harder as you go. One mistake ends the run.
A separate Game Center leaderboard tracks your best streak.

■ 10 shapes
Triangle, square, diamond, pentagon, circle, ellipse, hexagon, octagon, star, hexagram.
Each with its own kind of nuance to spot.

■ 6 dimensions of difference
Size, position, angle, thickness, count, edge length.
One shape, just slightly off.

Observe for as long as you like.

A clear deduction system based on misses and time.

- Sound now respects your media volume — silent at zero. Replaced system sounds with bundled audio.

- Added Easy / Normal / Hard difficulty modes. Hard is the original challenge; Normal and Easy soften the visual difference slightly.
- Stages cleared with a score of 0 are now marked as cleared on the home screen.

- Best scores are stored independently per mode (the leaderboard still ranks Hard only).
- Reworked the internal state reset on "Again" so the previous run no longer carries over.

FIXED:
- Fixed an issue where "Again" did not consume a play.

- Score-based missions auto-complete if you already have a high enough best score for that stage.

A simple deduction system based on misses and time. Clear in 20 seconds with no mistakes for the "PERFECT under 20s" badge.

IMPROVED:
- Position anomaly is easier to spot — now includes vertical shifts in addition to horizontal, and the shift is one stroke wider.
- Size anomaly now includes shrinking variants (not just enlarging).
- Pentagon, star and hexagram angle anomalies are slightly more visible.
- Improved the ad button state display so you can tell when a reward ad is being prepared.

FIXED:
- Tapped a stage by accident? Tap the cancel button within 3 seconds and your play won't be consumed.
