### 4/5 — Engaging game

*2016-09-01, version 1.0.0*

Not particularly long, and too many standard HOS for my taste, but there were no glitches and scenes were very well done with highly detailed backgrounds and realistic multi-part objects to use

### 5/5 — Great game

*2016-08-31, version 1.0.0*

Good storyline, character voice overs believable. Beautiful scenery! (makes you want to take a vacation!) Loving the hidden object scenes, puzzles, & the mystery adventure of the story.

### 5/5 — Off the Record

*2016-08-30, version 1.0.0*

All of the Off the Record games are terrific!!

### 5/5 — Taking Liberties With the Stone!

*2016-08-30, version 1.0.0*

This fun game arrived just as I was wishing for a tropical vacation - and here we are at a Caribbean hotel for a beauty pageant! It's been cancelled, though, due to the theft of the famous Liberty Stone gem, which was to go to the contest winner. You are a reporter, who now finds herself a suspect in murder and robbery. Oh, no! How can you prove your innocence? And what's with the sneaky hotel owner? There are Collectible Seahorses in each scene, morphing objects, and Alphabet Letters to collect in each scene. Nice music, and pretty island scenery. Buy it now, and enjoy your mini-vacation!

### 5/5 — Off the Record : Liberty Stone

*2016-08-29, version 1.0.0*

Eipix did a good job on this latest installment of off the record (each plays as a stand alone) no diary or custom difficulty, has transporting indicated map. Crisp graphics and an interesting plot. Who really is the culprit? Why frame you? Watch for collectable sea horses and letters and globes etc. morphing objects in some ho. Verdict:worth playing!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Dull

*2016-09-14, version 1.0.0*

Quite bored so I was happy it ended and I had no interest in playing bonus content. Eipix is becoming stale. Nothing unique or challenging. Wish someone would create a challenging and interesting game!

### 1/5 — Annoyed

*2016-09-09, version 1.0.0*

I hated this game. Some parts of the game are confusing and the game is boring and annoying. So sorry I wasted my time and money of this one. I want a refund! 😡

### 1/5 — Boring

*2016-08-31, version 1.0.0*

Another lame game. Chasing scene to scene. We are smarter then you think. Please stop insulting us. So annoying!

### 2/5 — Eurohistorian

*2016-09-30, version 1.0.0*

Boring & tedious. HOs are good but puzzles are not interesting. Storyline is predictable; map necessary since clues are not all that clear. I found myself just using the map to advance. Not much thinking involved. Graphics were good. Game played well, but when zooming the game kept counting screen movement as clicks. No where near as good as some of the classics like the Drawn series.

### 2/5 — Didn't like it

*2016-09-13, version 1.0.0*

I can't quite point my finger on it, but I disliked this game. I know I disliked the HO scenes. They require you to do things in a particular order, like needing to oil a wheel before a key falls out. That's annoying, since I spent time searching the scene for the key BEFORE using the oil. There's no map, but plenty of back and forth. The hint will allow you to teleport to a new location, and you'll need it! I was bored going through it and didn't enjoy it. I don't like the graphics, either . Seems dated. I'll pass.

### 2/5 — Finally gave up and deleted

*2016-09-08, version 1.0.0*

I've been trying to play this since it came out. I finally gave up and deleted.
I found this game boring and monotonous. It wasn't fun for me at all, I kept looking at the reviews, wondering if I was missing something...I guess it wasn't my type of game, obviously.

### 2/5 — I paid and there's still ads??

*2016-08-30, version 1.0.0*

Why am I still seeing ads In this game after I paid full price for it? I paid for advertisements? Total BS

### 3/5 — "On" The Record: This "Stone" Is Rock Solid! Sort of!

*2016-08-30, version 1.0.0*

UPDATE: I've reluctantly deducted an additional star due to the offensively short playtime of the bonus chapter. I think I finished in a record time of less than a 1/2 hour, and I'm a slow player. I feel like my pocket was ripped off of a well-earned dollar!

So we have the modern-times feud between the "Sterlings-Montagues" and the "Walkers-Capulets." Caught in the middle is not just love this time. Well......you'll see. The setting depicts a refreshing environment within a Caribbean island paradise where you travel around wind-blown palm trees; lit-up, tented patios; crystal-clear pools with fruit-filled tables; and lush-filled jungles, which cover hills that extend towards the ocean. The graphics are fairly satisfactory and clear; however, some scenes appear blemished and muddled, which is indicative of impurity and unsophisticated talent. The colors radiate light, airy, and pastel-like tinges to promote a more spirited and vivacious atmosphere. The instrumental music is both mild and pacifying to achieve a vacation-like relaxation. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. As is customary with this developer, you cannot customize your settings. I've grown tired of articulating about this hindrance. Even with the disregard of customized settings, the teleport map, at least in the second mode, is nonessential in that your journey is quite linear. Transition between scenes is swift and fluid. The HOS are abundant, innovational, and stimulating in presentation and ideas; they are cutting-edge with an expansive variety of clever and ingenious approaches on gameplay. I have an instinctive predilection for thought-provoking puzzles that abstain from conventional and unoriginal types; I love the one where you choose sketches of the attacker's face. You have several sets of collectibles; they are fairly conspicuous in placement. One other positive aspect to be conveyed is that this developer finally heeded our calls to place the map on the main layout in lieu of placement under the menu. I deducted a star due to omissions of both customized settings and a journal. This installment expresses a high level of interaction, variety, and creativity that renders this worth playing.

LynxMinx: Thank you for your kind words. I guess I can attribute some skill to the many years I worked in the legal field. Hope you are feeling well.

### 4/5 — Fun game

*2016-10-11, version 1.0.0*

Challenging too!

### 4/5 — Off the Record - Another Excellent Eipix Game

*2016-09-01, version 1.0.0*

Only 4 stars because there are no customizable settings. I don't know why Eipix does not add this feature. Some games have a 5 - 15 second refresh feature.
Excellent teleporting Hint button, different types of HOPs, cohesive storyline, beautiful graphics.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Good games

*2018-06-10, version 1.0.0*

All of there games have to many ads

### 5/5 — Off the Record

*2016-09-21, version 1.0.0*

Another addition to the EiPix series. I gave the last addition a 3+ for reasons stated on that review. However, although this was similar in many ways, it was more fine-tuned, the plot held more interest, the music was a bit more on-target for the theme, and everything just "worked" better. I gave this new addition a 4+, since it still does not top a few other companies offerings. Keep up the improvements EiPix! Recommendation: Buy on sale and enjoy.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2016-09-13, version 1.0.0*

Literally could not stop playing. Highly recommend!!!!

### 5/5 — Best Game Ever

*2016-09-11, version 1.0.0*

Loved this game for its smooth gameplay...no vermin or goblins which is so refreshing... no lag times between scenes....challenging puzzles...beautiful graphics...great bonus game....can't wait for the next one!

### 5/5 — Hard but workable!

*2016-09-07, version 1.0.0*

Hard, but not so hard you couldn't complete the puzzles and make sense of what has to be done next. I've bought so many games where it takes forever to figure anything out. Haven't finished this one yet but am having a good time working it. It makes me use common sense. Am in my70's and this type of game helps my brain to recharge !

### 5/5 — Great game!

*2016-09-07, version 1.0.0*

I really enjoyed this game, great story and setting. Good variety of mini games. Can't wait for the next one!

### 5/5 — Action packed!

*2016-09-04, version 1.0.0*

The story goes quickly, it makes you want to get to the end.

### 5/5 — Love it!!

*2016-09-04, version 1.0.0*

Fun, light hearted game. Love the story, had more realistic feel to it than most stories.
Game was like reading a love, mystery book than playing a game. Like how the writers/producers emphasized on the characters sense of what was most important, instead of what tore them apart. Bonus story brought it all about and Thomas asked as only a child would ask, are you taking me home and two-can I help steer the boat?
Sweet!

### 5/5 — Fun in the tropics

*2016-09-03, version 1.0.0*

Great graphics , fun story . Definitely get this game. My only complaint is that it seemed shorter than usual but worth it anyway!

### 5/5 — Off The Record: Liberty Stone by LynxMinx

*2016-08-31, version 1.0.0*

I love this series and I loved this game. There were, as usual per EIPIX, 3 levels of difficulty. The graphics were gorgeous. At each location you must search for a seahorse collectible, hidden audio tapes, beach balls, and hidden letters. Loading was quick between locations and there was an in-game map (marked if so chosen) to transport you there. There was no journal (although we keep asking EIPIX for one) but the story wasn't too hard to follow and objectives were regularly updated. Inventory was labeled and interactive, with complex items to assemble. The HO scenes were varied and there were morphing objects to find in these, but I enjoyed them and did not find them tedious, as I did with Danse Macabre. I liked the puzzles and games for a change. There were no unusual gimmicks, but this game didn't need them because it was so good. It was a decent length and had a bonus adventure, but I enjoyed it so much it seemed short, although it really wasn't! The game ran smoothly and I can't wait for another installment! Lynxie sends ❤️💋😘 to Dracyy, KimTwilight, Sunshine Susie and the DTE!
