## What is Offbeat Player?

Your music, downloaded and always there. No spinners. No errors. No signal required.

Offbeat connects to your own Plex Media Server and turns your library into a real offline music player. Download the albums and playlists you care about, then flip on Download View — one toggle that instantly filters your entire library, search, and Now Playing queue down to exactly what's on your phone. No half-loaded artwork, no "connection lost" banners, no waiting for a signal that isn't coming. If you downloaded it, it plays.

WHY OFFBEAT

Most Plex clients assume you're always connected. Offbeat assumes you're not. It's built for commutes underground, flights, patchy coverage, and anywhere your library needs to work without asking permission from a network first.

DOWNLOAD VIEW
One switch filters everything — library, artists, albums, search results, even Now Playing — to only what's downloaded. It's instant, not a reload. Turn it off to browse your full server catalog; turn it on and the app becomes a self-contained offline player.

BUILT FOR YOUR LIBRARY
Browse by artist, album, or genre with full artwork and metadata pulled straight from Plex. Fast, on-device search finds tracks, albums, and artists as you type — no network round-trip.

DOWNLOADS THAT SURVIVE
Downloads run in the background and pick up where they left off, even if you close the app or your phone restarts. Your play counts sync back to Plex once you're online again, so your listening history stays accurate everywhere.

NOW PLAYING, DONE PROPERLY
