### 4/5 — Just what I needed

*2023-12-08*

This is very useful for project planning and minimizing waste. My only suggestion would be to added the ability edit part placement on the cut list. Overall I am super happy with this app.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2023-05-28*

I am so happy with this app, I’m sure it saved me at least a day or 2 of laying out my cuts on paper and reduced my waste and errors. With the price of materials this will pay for itself many times over. After getting the feel for the software and how to organize my project, it took me less than 30 minutes to get the data entered for my kitchen cabinet project. Because they offer a generous trial period I could have finished my project without paying for it but I would have felt guilty and cheap. It is obvious that much time and effort went into building this software and I am very impressed with it.

### 4/5 — Great app, could use just a couple more things

*2023-05-16*

Does a good job of giving you an orderly means to make the most of your lumber & other materials. Would be even better if I could make a digital checklist so that once I have my parts list and start cutting, I could tap and check off the pieces I’ve already cut so I have a running tab of what’s been finished and what’s left to cut. That, or at least maybe the option in the existing cut list at the top if I could tap the section I’ve finished and have it turn red to indicate it’s done so I have an immediate visual reference of where I’m at in the cut list progress. Other than that it’s a solid, highly recommend app for organizing efficient woodworking projects.

**Developer response:** That's a great idea! I'll add it to the list of features for a future version

### 4/5 — Great app and easy to use

*2023-05-13, version 4.2.5*

I downloaded the free trial version. It was incredibly easy to enter in all the data, and i thought it did a great job plotting out, with minimal waste. I was disappointed that i could not print more than 1 page in the first 3 day trial, without upgrading. I understand why they did this, so that you do upgrade. If i had a business, i would wouldn’t hesitate buying it for $14.99, but for the hobbiest that may only use this a few times a year, I feel that may be a bit more than I want to spend.

### 5/5 — Incredibly handy project planning and management tool.

*2023-02-18*

I can’t image starting a large build without the app generated PDF print out on my clipboard. Best cut list app I’ve used so far. Bonus points for being more accurate with estimating costs!

### 5/5 — A great app for woodworkers

*2022-09-21, version 4.2.5*

I was looking for an inexpensive, easy-to-use application to generate cut lists and found Offcuts. The interface is intuitive and I was able to generate my first cut list within minutes. The developer’s online support is also simple to use if you have any questions. Try this, you’ll like it!

### 5/5 — Excellent apps

*2022-06-29, version 4.2.4*

I have tried several applications for CutList and this one is the best of the best, help you to maximize your material on any kind of project that requires cuts. Handles cuts in an nice organized easy to work with keep everything smooth A+ app. The support is Top-notch A+++.

### 4/5 — Very helpful

*2022-06-17*

Really enjoy the app!

### 5/5 — Easy to use!

*2022-02-24, version 4.1.3*

I really like this program! This review was edited because I solved my apparent problems by realizing I was using it wrong. I really like the fact that this is not a subscription model program (which kept me from buying other programs). I found out that you can influence grain direction by switching out length vs width. If you find a part in which the grain direction is wrong, just switch length for width and the part will rotate properly. (As well as toggling the ignore grain switch). But there seems to be no way to specify which size of sheet good to use so the program seems to randomly select whatever size is in inventory. However, I got around this easily by creating an inventory name that includes size. For example, instead of specifying Baltic Birch which comes in various sizes, I created Baltic Birch 4x8 as an inventory name. I also created Baltic Birch 5x5. That way I can force the program to use the sizes I want when generating cut lists. Happy to pay for something that works this well!

### 5/5 — Tolle und hilfreiche App

*2022-02-06*

### 5/5 — Very useful and easy to use

*2021-10-25*

Enables you to very quickly and easily get an idea of the best way to maximize you lumber and materials.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2021-07-31, version 3.2.1*

This app is both a time, cost and material saver and speeds estimating up no end. Only issue I’ve found on 3 projects so far is on the cost summary it switches the sheet goods and lumber headings over which did confuse me at first

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No tan buena

*2024-01-08*

### 1/5 — Actual cost $9.99

*2020-11-29*

Haven’t used it yet. Stunned by the fact that the free version only allows one project with three parts. If you want to use it for a real project you have to spend $9.99 on an upgrade.

**Developer response:** Hi KeyLowNY, Once you first install it, you have 7 days of unrestricted use of the application to get a feeling how the full version works. Once this trial period is over, it runs in with limited functionality as you've found.

### 2/5 — Amélioration

*2020-06-14*

Sinon bonne application

### 3/5 — Works but with limitations

*2025-10-06*

This is a helpful app but seems to lack the ability to create a cut list with more than one type of material at a time.

**Developer response:** Actually you can create cultists with any number of materials at the same time. If you reach out to support@hoopsouo.com I'll walk you through it

### 3/5 — Ok for small project. Infuriating for large project

*2023-10-29*

Lots of manual work and seems useful for optimizing material. I gave up on it fora whole house project. Reordering groups has a bug that after reordering, they go back to alphabetical order. Cant duplicate whole groups, just parts which means you have to move each part one by one to create a duplicate group. If you forget to hit save before moving to the next part, it does not remember the changes or give a warning that changes weren’t saved. Unless you notice the miss, cutlist will be wrong

**Developer response:** Thanks for the comments. I'll look at addressing these in a future release

### 3/5 — Améliorations et crash lors du report

*2022-03-16*

### 4/5 — Pretty Good especially for the price

*2024-08-23*

It does a pretty good job on figuring the layouts
Playing with the groups and sequence of the parts you can optimize the waste.

An excellent application that provides everything you need to create cutting plans and inventory management at a very low price. For years I only knew Optimik software available for Windows platform but the discovery of this application has made my work much easier and reduced software costs. I also like its availability for iPad. As for me it's really excellent App.
