## What is OffGrid?

Turn the daily screen-time fight into a deal your kids actually want to keep.

OffGrid gives children aged 6–14 real agency over their screen time: they earn minutes by doing real-world offline activities, spend from a balance set together with their parent, and can ask for extra time when they need it. No power struggles — just a shared agreement, a visible balance, and a game worth playing.

Shared agreements
Set a daily screen-time budget together with your child, plus earn rules for each activity category. When kids help design the rules, they respect them.

Earn time offline
Log reading, outdoor play, chores, creativity, learning, or acts of kindness — and watch the balance grow. A daily earn cap per category keeps things honest.

Request extra time
Kids can ask for more minutes with a reason attached. Parents approve or decline from the dashboard. No arguing, just a request and an answer.

Activity library

OffGrid is 100% on-device. There are no accounts, no network calls, no analytics, and no third-party services. Everything stays on your phone.

NOTE
OffGrid is a self-contained screen-time tracker. It does not integrate with Apple Screen Time or FamilyControls — it does not enforce device limits or lock apps. It models agreements, tracks the balance, and helps families build better habits through shared accountability.
