Has happened multiple times. Very frustrating and makes studying on this app useless. ### 1/5 — Waste of money *2022-11-21* Don’t waste your money on this app. I bought the study guide for the CLEPs for $10. I thought this app would actually have practice tests and different questions from printed study guide... Nope. It takes like 2 or more minutes to load each question, each answer and move to the next question. I bought 30 minutes ago and requested a refund and they said my purchase was not eligible. All that shows up now is an error message that does not allow me to access the material that I payed for. Yes I tried closing the application, yes I deleted the app and re-downloaded it, and the same error (with no indication as to what the error is, just a paragraph sized text block filled with code). You took my money and now your app isn’t and now I can’t study for my test. There are no explanations or any further details for studying specific concepts. Not worth the $$. Maybe buy the book instead, which provides explanations for exemplar responses. Most of the questions are broken, nonsensical, and will not help you study. **Developer response:** Hi SilverCatts, Could you please reach out and let us know why or how you think the questions are broken or nonsensical? We want to make our customer's experience the best that it can be, so your input would be helpful. The questions we use are provided directly by the College Board, the administrator of the exam. Scoring well on these practice exams are a good indication of your readiness for the real exam. ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2025-09-04* I bought this hoping to get good material but it’s the exact same questions as my modern states final just over and over again. Do not purchase. *2024-07-11* I paid $15 for the premium version to review specific topics for my College Composition CLEP exam, which is a total waste of money. There are only 92 questions available that never shuffle. Called customer service during operating hours to get a refund because of the terrible quality and it went straight to voicemail that sounded completely unprofessional. An embarrassment to College Board and unbelievable they endorse this on the website. Maybe only worth downloading for the free version if you want one practice test. ### 1/5 — Listen to the reviews *2024-06-04* Bought the app because I have the Spanish clep coming up and wanted to study but the stats and review feature don't even work. I’m able to log in on my laptop but I think they just want you to pay for an app version of the guide. Except its ONE test over and over again. No new questions. If you have good memory you could easily be lulled into thinking your improving your score but you are just recognizing the questions. Not cool! I have spent a lot of money on “products” for CLEP that have been useless. The study guide is not a study guide its just a guide telling you how they calculate score etc. I shouldn't have had to pay an extra $10 for that! Since we don't have a choice about where to get credits I use the service but just like sat/gre/mcat these are all just scams to get money from students and to put barriers in the way of people getting degrees. ### 2/5 — Impossible to get refund *2021-01-19* App works fine. It is only one set of questions (100 total). The app works better as a flash card model, which may make it worth the extra $5. There’s no really study guide, just multiple Choice questions that never shuffle. It will tell you which answer is correct, but not why.
