### 2/5 — App Issues

*2019-10-28, version 1.0.7*

While the app concept itself is great. The wait times are incredibly wrong. I’m not sure if that’s app related but I waited 2.5 hours for a ride that advertised 60. Rides were open even though the app said they were closed. A walking map feature would be great to get to each ride. A lot of the time the app would only update ride status well if I closed it and opened it again.

### 2/5 — OUT DATED APP!!!

*2018-07-14, version 0.9.6*

Save your money! This app does not include the latest rides. Free apps are updated and include estimated wait times of rides.

### 2/5 — Needs Updated

*2018-05-30, version 0.9.6*

The app hasn’t been updated in 4 years! Well laid out map, but I don’t know how many changes there are in the last 4 years. The app also crashes at find my car. I guess I’ll use the Find My Car app in App Store on iPhone. App designer, please update to 2018, otherwise I’ll call Apple and get my $1 back.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Out of date

*2024-08-23, version 1.2*

It looks like the last update was end of 2018. Keep this in mind when looking for restaurants and shows.

Poopoo

### 1/5 — Meh

*2024-05-28, version 1.2*

Nothing loads keep saying connect to Internet

### 1/5 — Bad app

*2023-07-01, version 1.2*

Map didn’t ever load, despite being connected to wifi. It also doesn’t allow you to view favorited rides, despite that being a built in feature.

### 1/5 — Great potential but missed the mark on service

*2022-08-03, version 1.2*

Walking into the park it looks amazing but you’ll soon realize that it’s just appearances when every ride is “temporarily down”. Seriously folks, we’ve walked the entire park numerous times and only 3 coasters are operational. Which by the way increases wait times with a minimal crowd size since everyone is concentrated on the only rides working. So far, this place is thoroughly disappointing. Hotel Breakers is also a waste of money…Do yourself a favor and just go fishing while you’re in Sandusky.

### 1/5 — No wait times

*2021-06-13, version 1.0.9*

This is a worthless app. No wait times listed

### 1/5 — Do not waste your money

*2018-08-22, version 0.9.6*

App isn’t updated with new park info and it crashes constantly

### 2/5 — Rides & app

*2023-08-29, version 1.2*

I had a hard time with app. Count not get the map to work & it kept saying no internet. But I was sign up internet. Quite a few rides closed.
Food restaurant were closed. Going to restaurant at 5:30 & they were closing per supervisor- attendance was low.

### 2/5 — Favorited Rides Don’t Show Up

*2021-06-28, version 1.1*

Great app in theory but nothing I save or mark as ridden shows up on the list screens

### 4/5 — Cedar point

*2026-05-29, version 1.2*

I love cedar point but the app takes a while to load

### 4/5 — Wait lines

*2021-07-18, version 1.1*

Every time we get to a line the wait time is double what the app says

### 4/5 — Updates

*2019-07-16, version 1.0.7*

I’d like to know as soon as a ride goes down, however.

### 4/5 — Part of the menu is inaccessible on iPhone 4s

*2014-08-08, version 0.9.3*

This is an excellent app for using at Cedar Point. The GPS enabled map works great. My only complaint is that the last two items of the menu cannot be used on my iPhone 4s because the screen is too small. I can scroll the menu to the point that I can see these last two items but the menu just springs back when you let go of it which makes it impossible to select one of them.

Not all of us can afford an iPhone 5 yet.

### 3/5 — Sad

*2026-07-12, version 1.2*

I’ve gone to cedar point all my life and my dad worked there In 1938. I bought a gold pass because I will go at least four times or more. It’s clean it’s fun There is plenty to do. My sad part of the day is how expensive food, drinks and souvenirs are. I refuse to pay $10 for a small fries. Potatoes are not expensive. I spent $27 on lunch because we split one lunch. Two people do not need the drink or food pkg. So many things are extra to do and the rooms in the hotel are outrageous. If you re rich you’re going to have a great time. If not sneak in food and use the drinking fountain. I remember the days when we took a cooler of food and drinks and ate together as a family. Hah I remember my parents getting in free because they weren’t riding rides. The rich owners couldn’t possible give up that much money now. Wonder if the stock has gone up proportionately with the prices. I wouldn’t know I can’t afford any. I’m a retired school teacher. Sue Yohe, Bowling Green

### 3/5 — Not enough bathrooms

*2021-08-08, version 1.1*

2 bathrooms by the wave pool is definitely not enough. There are not enough bathrooms in the water park. The lines for the bathrooms are as long if not longer than the lines for the slides. They closed areas of the water park at 4:30pm and the park was open till 6pm. $50 per ticket and it was packed, you would think Cedar Fair would make a few upgrades to make it customer friendly.

### 3/5 — Save your money

*2017-08-02, version 0.9.6*

This is nothing more than a digital map of the park. I should have looked more carefully, it does not provide wait times. The app itself is well designed which is why I give it a 3, but otherwise, download the free Cedar Point all that does the same thing and shows wait times.
