## What is Offline Music Player?

Play your own music without internet, without ads and without an account. Import MP3 and other audio files from the Files app, a folder or a download link, then listen offline anywhere: on a plane, at the gym, on the subway.

This is a music player for people who keep their own audio files. Nothing streams, nothing uploads and nothing is tracked. Your files stay on your device.

PLAYS ALMOST ANY AUDIO FILE
• MP3, M4A, M4B, FLAC, WAV, AAC, AIFF, OGG, OPUS and more
• A full queue: play next, add to queue, shuffle, repeat
• Keeps playing in the background, with Lock Screen and Control Center controls
• Playback speed from 0.75x to 2x
• Sleep timer with presets, a custom time, or stop at the end of the song
• Skip forward and back 15 seconds

A LIBRARY THAT LOOKS LIKE YOURS
• Recently added as a carousel of covers
• Albums and artists built automatically from the tags in your files
• Make your own albums and playlists, pin favorites, and reorder them
• Search everywhere, including inside every album and artist
• Rename songs, fix artist names and set your own cover art

A PLAYER WORTH LOOKING AT
• Full-screen artwork, or a vinyl record that spins with a tonearm
• Black-and-white design built for dark mode, plus five color themes
• Light, dark or automatic appearance
• Designed for both iPhone and iPad

SYNCED LYRICS
• Import .lrc files with your music, or paste lyrics in
• Tap along while a song plays to time each line yourself
• Lyrics scroll with the music. Tap any line to jump there

ALSO AN AUDIOBOOK AND PODCAST PLAYER
Rename Albums and Songs to Podcasts and Episodes, or Books and Chapters. The labels change across the whole app.

ADDING FILES IS EASY
• Pick single files or whole folders from the Files app. Folder order is kept
• Share audio to the app from any other app
• Paste a direct link to an audio file

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
No ads, no subscriptions, no analytics, no account. The app only connects to the internet when you paste a download link yourself. Back up your albums, edits and lyrics, and restore them on any device.

### 5/5 — Awesome Offline music player

*2026-10-12*

Would be great if you could add CarPlay support.

### 5/5 — Finally the app I’ve been looking for.

*2026-10-12*

Perfect app for playing music I already own. Only request: add next-track (and previous) on the lock screen instead of just the 15-second forward and back options.
Thanks for making this app!!

Update: version 3.1 is absolutely amazing!!
Thx for sharing this app with us :)

**Developer response:** Thanks for updating your review! 3.0 asked iOS for the 15 second skip buttons by mistake. 3.1 shows next and previous on the Lock Screen, in Control Center and in the Dynamic Island.

### 5/5 — Just keeps getting better

*2026-10-12*

This new update is so GOOD and clean i love it, as a spotify and apple music lover this beats it for me

**Developer response:** Beating Spotify and Apple Music for you is a big compliment for a one-person app. Thanks for giving it a try!

### 5/5 — Really good

*2026-10-11*

Wow, this app is amazing for importing music and also the only gripe I had was that the music wasn’t automatically sorted in order, but after the recent update that was fixed, thx!

**Developer response:** Glad the sorting fix helped. Imported folders now play in the same order as in Files, so 01 comes first, then 02 and so on. Thanks for coming back to update your review!

### 5/5 — Beautiful. That’s just one word to describe this.

*2026-10-11*

I love this. That’s all.
I do wish the app icon would change with the color you picked in the app though - that would be a nice touch.
It would also be nice if you could choose whether you wanted a carousel or a list of your albums and such - just general personalization would be nice as well.
But this is a five star nonetheless!!

**Developer response:** Thank you! An app icon that follows your accent color is a nice idea, and so is choosing between the carousel and a plain list. Neither is in the app yet, but I’ve added both to my list.

### 5/5 — Da best

*2026-10-11*

Genuiely the best app out there. Thank you for making it free❤️

**Developer response:** Thanks a lot! It’s staying free, and there won’t be any ads.

### 4/5 — it's "almost" perfect!

*2026-10-10*

love the new look and just as they said no ads no account, but please could you add CarPlay support? that's all i'm asking for i don't want to turn the music on from my phone every time i start driving i want to control everything from the screen of my car without having to even touch or think about reaching my iphone.

**Developer response:** Thank you! CarPlay is built and waiting for Apple's approval. Apple has to grant a special permission before a music app can appear in the car, and I'm waiting on them now. It'll come in an update as soon as they approve it.

### 5/5 — Finally I found what I was looking for!

*2026-10-08*

I've surfed the whole app store looking for an ad free no in app purchase offline music player. So many apps were free but bloated with advertisements.

This app is really ad free. Thanks to the dev team. For paying apple to survive on app store completely voluntary.

just a few suggestions:
1. Please add next/previous button from nav control. Currently there are only 15sec fast/prev buttons available
2. If possible add option for folder hierarchy play system.

And one more time, thanks a lot for being the one against the current!

**Developer response:** Thank you! Both of these are better in 3.1, which is out now. The Lock Screen, Control Center and Dynamic Island now show next and previous instead of the 15-second skips. For folders, Import a folder brings in the whole folder, subfolders included, and turns it into an album that plays in the folder's own order. Browsing and playing straight from a folder tree isn't in the app yet, but it's on my list.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2026-10-02*

Very great app literally no ads which is perfect and it’s easy to import songs but there is a simple issue which is when I import an album the order of the songs get mixed up I hope it can be ordered as imported from the files

**Developer response:** Thanks for reporting this. In 3.0, songs from an imported folder went into the album in whatever order iOS happened to list them, which was basically random. 3.1 is out now and keeps the folder's order, so 01 plays first, then 02 and so on. Albums you imported before the update still have the old order. You can import the folder again, or tap Edit in the album and drag the songs where they belong.

### 5/5 — Better than Apple Music app

*2026-09-10*

There’s a lot of apps that claim to do what this one does and they just wanna charge you money and then not work so do your self a favor and download it!

**Developer response:** Thanks for saying so! It's staying free, with no ads and no subscription.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 3.1 — 2026-10-10

Version 3.1 is a redesign of the whole app, with fixes for the problems reported in reviews of 3.0.

Design
• New black-and-white look, designed for dark mode. The app now opens in Dark with the Mono theme. You can change both in Settings.
• New app icon.
• Redesigned Songs and Albums pages: a Recently Added carousel, pinned albums as cover cards with a play button, an Artists row, and a grid of albums from your files.
• With round artwork and spin turned on, the player shows a record with a tonearm.
• iPad layouts that use the whole screen.

Fixed
• Deleting a song by swiping left no longer closes the app. This was the most common crash in 3.0.
• Choose Files opens the file picker again.
• The Lock Screen, Control Center and Dynamic Island show Next and Previous instead of 15-second skips.
• The title on screen always matches the audio that is playing.
• Files that can't be played are named and skipped, and pressing play tries them again.
• After a call or an alarm, music no longer starts by itself if it was paused.
• Change Cover in an album's menu works.

New
• Search in Albums, and inside every album and artist.
• Import .lrc lyrics files with your music or inside a folder.
• What's New in Settings lists every change in this version.
• Respects the Reduce Motion setting.

Still no ads, no accounts and no tracking. Your music never leaves your device.

### 3.0 — 2026-08-24

Version 3.0 is a complete rebuild. The app opens faster, runs smoother, and fixes a long list of bugs. Your library carries over automatically, including albums, artwork, renamed tracks, lyrics, and settings.

New in 3.0:
• Synced lyrics: paste text, import .lrc files, or tap along to time each line
• Browse by artist, plus automatic albums built from your files' tags
• Import a whole folder. It keeps its structure and becomes an album in one tap
• Playback speed from 0.75x to 2x, useful for podcasts and audiobooks
• Sleep timer with custom durations, or stop at the end of the current track
• Better queue: play next, add to queue, see what already played, jump anywhere
• 15 second skip buttons in the player
• Six color themes in light and dark mode
• Backup and restore for your library setup

Also improved:
• Opens instantly, even with a large library
• Gapless playback and more reliable background audio
• Lock screen now shows the artwork embedded in your files
• Clear error messages instead of silent failures

Still no ads, no accounts, and no tracking.
