My boyfriend and I love using Offline to pick a spot for our date nights and supporting small businesses. I’ve also brought and introduced so many friends to the restaurants that are advertised on Offline! We have returned to many of the restaurants that have become our favorites since discovering them through the app.

I’ve been a member for sometime and even supported this app for free via social media.. recently I cancelled my membership and was still charged. I reached out thinking they would understand and it was no big deal.. WRONG Charlene from customer service was rude and less than helpful or understanding.

I’ve been a member for about six months now and I don’t think they’ve added new restaurants in Austin since joining. Maybe one or two at most. 

I don’t understand why I would renew this app if new restaurants aren’t being added.

I’ve had offline for a year and I talk about it all the time! I love trying new places and having a directory of local spots where I can use my discount has helped me save money and discover restaurants that I’ve loved but might not have known about without it. Offline events are really fun and generous. I love how they collaborate with the restaurants and encourage tipping on the total before the discount. The customer service is friendly and responsive. It’s a great deal and a great opportunity.

The more “premium offer” restaurants you add, the more subscribers you will lose. Especially for subscribers who often dine alone or separate tickets.

Beware that if you select a monthly membership at sign up, they will “upgrade” you two days before your trial ends for an annual subscription and charge your card for that amount without your consent
Customer service was slow and rude and blamed me for not checking my emails. I don’t know in what world they think it’s good business to pull the rug out from under their customers like this and then act the way they do.

Was pleasantly surprised with variety at first and purchased the one year membership. However, a few months in, I noticed no new restaurants were appearing, and several were even dropping off the list each month. Most of what was left was chain restaurants. Customer service was also subpar.
