This app will mangle even the simplest translations. "We went to the market" will translate to something like "We made a store." This app is rubbish and does not understand the way Italians speak or comprehend grammar. It might be useful if you only want to use nouns but I won't even trust it for that. ### 1/5 — Poor italian-English translator *2014-03-15* I tested this translator by comparing it with three others. I would enter an italian sentence or a passage and copy and paste the identical passage into each of the four translators. The other three apps translated the passage accurately. This one usually produced an inaccurate, sometimes nonsensical translation, especially with longer more complex sentences. It did so poorly that I deleted it from my ipad. ### 2/5 — Interrupting adds *2017-05-24* This would be a great app if it a: didn't show ad for us to buy its "pro version " while we were typing, giving us the choice of no or yes, and b: causing the screen to flash making it impossible to do anything. Interestingly, these occur more frequently as you say no. Uninstalled. **Developer response:** Hello, we're sorry for the inconvenience caused. Supposedly you should be able to continue entering your text after answering "No". Could you contact us at guser@skycode.com to provide details on your device/iOS version? ### 3/5 — travelbum00 *2016-07-13* The free version of this app only lets you translate words by typing them in. You can't actually take a pic of something and have it translated. For this you need to pay for the full app. Misleading. ### 3/5 — Good but speaks too quickly. *2014-02-25* This app seems to do what it says but the voice which speaks the translated words talks very quickly and is very "computerised". Translations may not be perfect, but they're on par with most others online, and give enough information to understand people.
