## What is OffsetTally?

A job can look ready on paper while one production margin is already too close for comfort. OffsetTally gives that weak point a place to surface before the first sheet moves.

Current stock, planned spoilage, image coverage, ink laydown, press speed, setup, wash-up, quality allowance, and staffed shift time feed one release decision. OffsetTally keeps the four answers together: finished-copy headroom, usable mixed-ink reserve, full press occupation, and the work-window margin still available. The condition nearest its limit is called out immediately instead of being buried across separate notes.

Saved checks stay on the device. Earlier jobs can be searched, reopened with their original inputs and results, and reviewed during handoff, while operating assumptions remain adjustable as pressroom conditions change. OffsetTally does not replace shop safety procedures, manufacturer guidance, or a qualified press operator’s final judgment.
