## What is offthread?

offthread is a short, dreamlike story break for moments when your mind gets stuck.

Choose a language and length, then listen to a quiet, lightly surreal story that is easy to picture. There is nothing to solve, track, or complete. The app offers a short pause and ends with one small thing to do next.

offthread works without accounts, ads, analytics, or tracking. Stories are bundled in the app and play without an internet connection.

offthread is a wellness app, not a medical treatment. It does not diagnose or treat anxiety, insomnia, or any clinical condition.

This update reworks the stories from end to end:

- Every story is now narrated with a natural recorded voice, in both languages.
- Durations are honest: a "2 min" story now stays close to two minutes.
- Overly similar stories were removed, and no phrasing repeats within a single story.
- The "How busy is your mind?" choice is gone; stories now move directly into a stronger dreamlike drift.
- App size cut nearly in half.
