Besides that it’s still a great app. I’ve got Offtop pro too so thought I should find out why before purchasing the yearly subscription. If I can find the reason why I can’t find the effects then I’d rate this app a 5 no problem but that’s the only problem I’m having 😭 also I love that you can add instrumentals straight from your phone on iPhone like you could only on android. Love that love this app but please help. I’ve recorded a few songs myself over the course of about 3-4 years using it. After all those years this update made it useless. You can’t even discover new artists or just play new music with some sort of subscription. I’ve had to re-record multiple projects just for it to save to the app. I suggest screen recording your projects before pressing the save button if you want to actually conserve your work. Had a problem w me on a personal level over their mess ups. I mysteriously got two virus’s after that, they are the only ones w my Apple ID, anytime I go to crown I’m getting spamming messages or when I go to comment. They make sure you are not enjoying your small pitiful 50$ investment. It’s gotten to the point where you have maybe one fresh producer and the rest recycle their beats. Update 12/30/2023 my account hacked let them know and nothing done about it! Sad! Update: 2/2026 the quality of the app has went down dramatically. Many error codes. ### 1/5 — Lost Account after app update, 2 years with no response *2026-02-01, version 10.11.3* Hello, 3 years ago I was signed into OffTop via the Facebook linked account option. I had made several demo tracks using the app and was very proud of the progress I was making. Unfortunately, around this time 2 years ago, the app underwent an update which removed the Facebook login option. Since then I have been unable to log into that old OffTop account. I have tried every email and password that could have been associated with OffTop and Facebook at that time. I sent OffTop support an email requesting assistance with this issue at the time the update occurred, and I have yet to hear back from anybody after more than TWO YEARS. Please help me recover my old account, as I really do wish to have access to the many tracks I had created and lost over the years. Any response at this point is appreciated. The studio is at best, mediocre, it seems to be a cheaply made platform, and there aren’t enough instrumentals to choose from. Analyzes bpm and key for you. You can easily organize and send packs out, tag all your music with keywords that make searches incredibly easy. They also constantly update the app based on user feedback. Super useful. User friendly. Definitely recommend ### 5/5 — the best option out there *2025-05-11, version 10.8* as a grammy award-winning & billboard-charting producer, i’ve explored the other options. dropbox, untitled, boombox—all of them. this isn’t the time or place to get into my gripes with each of those, but i co-sign Offtop as the single best option out there for music storage, link sending, idea creation on the go—all of it. it’s quick and snappy, it looks great, and it’s still being built. it has less problems and bugs in it’s current relatively earlier stages than a huge established company and app like dropbox has after all the time they’ve been around.
