I have used it through both my Spotify and Apple Music, but as someone else mentioned, not all the songs in your playlists will be available which I’m hoping will be eventually resolved in the future. Secondly, if the app’s AI can loop parts of the songs when transitioning between two songs, that would be a game changer! ### 2/5 — Apple Music catalog issues *2026-03-29, version 4.8.21* As someone that’s already paying for Apple Music I find it hard to keep this app. The transition on this app is one of the best but the lack of music availability on there has always been a concern of mine. Even with the subscription just about 25% of my Apple Music songs are available on there. Am I missing something or anyone else having this issue. It’s hard paying for something that limits what I can play. I hope there’s a fix or I’m the one missing how to set it up right. Make full Apple Music catalog available, this will be a 5stars app n definitely wouldn’t mind the fee ### 3/5 — Has come a long way *2026-02-09, version 4.8.4* The program has come a looonnng way since I first played with it several years ago. Congratulations! The one thing that is still lacking is its ability to get phrasing right. Suggest to squeeze a bit more out of AI to intelligently determine phrasing close to mix points, to avoid the simple fade out effect, which sounds amateurish. In fact, one day if stems can be leveraged, it will become insanely easier for the program to isolate phrases and stem the vocal out at the right time, for smoother transition. The future is bright 😉👌 ### 4/5 — Add ‘key’ to the options *2026-01-20* App has great potential but please add the song key as a field that can be viewed (and something that determines upcoming tracks if it doesn’t already!) as it is a major part of what makes two tracks mix well together. We'll consider adding that to the app. Cheers, Boris ### 2/5 — Awesome concept - it doesn’t fully work though *2025-11-25, version 4.7.31* When I manually edit the length of a song, it doesn’t save that preference when I want to manually mix it myself. So it’s great in theory, but you can really customize it unless you let the AI do it for you, and even AI can’t cut the best parts of the song and doesn’t keep within the same genre it hops around too much. UI needs work. *2025-11-06* I bought this app to create several different playlists for a wedding reception. The AI does a pretty good job at first cut, but the app really falls down when it comes to customizing the playlist and transitions. As many others have mentioned: after you invest potentially hours of your time creating custom mix points the app flagrantly throws away hours of effort if you hit the auto mix button again. It would be really helpful to be able to see a simplified wave form in the mix control screen when creating custom points. The developer(s) could really benefit by spending a little bit of money on UX testing. Put a brand new user in front of the app and observe their actions. Just to make sure that you don't waste hours of effort on Offtrack, here are some tips. Once you've saved a mix point, there should be a lock button on the purple dot that shows that the mix point is saved. When you use the Display Feature on the Queue Page, it can also show that Mix Control is being used on that particular song. Merci, Boris ### 1/5 — Absolute scam *2026-08-07* Spent hours creating a playlist for a wedding (after paying for the subscription), then a few songs won’t play without a separate subscription won’t play.. need “Tidal”.. okay sure I’ll pay the 5.99. Then none of my songs play because I need a premium tidal account??? Basically paid for 2 separate subscriptions for none of my music/playlists (I spent hours working on) to work. Not to mention I also play for Spotify which is where I got the original music from. Do not let this company scam you into thinking you can make playlists, they’ll let you use the app seamlessly for hours just to block you with subscription fees. SCAM APP BUYER BEWARE **Developer response:** Hi sophamelia, Hi, we’re really sorry about this experience, especially after you spent hours preparing a playlist for a wedding. We definitely don’t want you to feel like you were misled or scammed. TIDAL does have a free tier but it only allows limited playback of 30 seconds, so a paid TIDAL subscription is required to play music through Offtrack. If you're new to TIDAL you can get a 1-month free trial for it, and once you switch to TIDAL you'll also get 3-months free for Offtrack Pro. So you shouldn't need to pay for another subscription right away. If you’re still having trouble getting your music to play, or if you’d like a refund for your Offtrack subscription, please reach us at support@offtrack.com.
