Loved the recent games, but I wish there were more traditional Japanese style games like this one or Ninja Village. However, how are we supposed to expand our village when you keep taking away buildings to make combos? From the cute little villagers, beautiful music, colourful graphics, building/editing mechanics, and wide variety of Japanese structures to construct and upgrade, it's overall a fun game. Only qualms is money gets tight as you progress and building enough combos to get the yield required to beat the game is very difficult. Every other text is spelled wrong, villagers break, and tasks don’t finish. Crafting? Use your food craft on a weapon shop to increase yield.??? Try to upgrade a weapons shop with weapons and you will never succeed. Tutorial and help are worthless. Crops loose money like a drunken sailor yet are indispensable? And every new game you have to research every shop again??!? It's boring and the objective is not clear. And after playing it for the first hour or so, you will be bored already. This game is only worth .99 cents don't pay more! ### 2/5 — Stop doing business in Japanese way *2011-12-24* After playing many of Kairosoft, I am somewhat dissapoint about this game. It cute and fun, but game play still didn't last long even with 3 map. Too many craft item that didn't make sense with very little effect in general, not that many store to choose from, store level don't see to speed up the game experience, Some special store don't come out at very late of the game no matter how many time you replay it, many building still have only 1 orientation. I end up with nothing to research and built but watching time goes by.... Kairosoft is a unique company to success in USA store, but please stop doing old japanese fashion way of selling exact samiliar game every few months (release game and stop supporting/increasing it content). There are very little improvement of UI, graphic, and game play. All of the game are like different theme of an exact same game. People get tired playing the same thing. $4 isn't cheap, and there are no new future content at all. I can't support game company like that. ### 2/5 — Disappointing :( *2011-12-18* I love Kairosoft and their games and so everytime they release a game, I buy it as soon as possible. But i was disappointed with this game. It isn't like the other Kairosoft games and so I lost interest in this game easily, unlike all the other Kairosoft games, this one in my opinion, was bad. You can repeatedly play this game many times. Each time you can find new combos and new surprises. I really enjoyed to try different planning on the map. Recently I played a map for 100 years and got a thank message at the end of 99 years.
