This trail has multiple breweries in different “areas” of Ohio. Tried adding them to the same list - that function doesn’t exist. You have to create multiple trails I guess. The app is also incredibly slow. Great concept. Poor delivery. ### 2/5 — Missing a lot of Ohio Breweries *2024-08-24* Like the app and what is has to offer. I went to 3 breweries today and none of them were on the app, and you can’t stamp your passport. I open the app and it stays frozen on the home screen with Combustion’s logo. The recent app overhaul, though, not so much. The new features are nice, but why is the text so ridiculously small? In the next update, please consider increasing the font size and/or allowing users to manually magnify/expand the info on their screen. Not only that, they actually reward you from visiting these fine drinking establishments. Keep leveling up and the prizes get better and better. Recommend it to anyone!!!!! ### 2/5 — Largely dysfunctional *2019-03-23, version 2.9.0* Nearly impossible to register a beer. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Tracking to deter from visiting *2025-03-12* So the problem I had with this app was that I had to follow the hours on the app vs the hours on google or the brewery site otherwise I got an email about how i checked in outside of hours. You also have to check in during operating hours which means if you forget when you visit you have to come back during normal hours even if you spent money at that location. Also hours and operations information is not accurate in the app and administrators admit they are not in email. When I complained they wanted me to share every time it wasn’t accurate which is more than not. I also am afraid to check in a spot when they are actually open because if based on this app they aren’t technically it doesn’t count. Their app is end all be all without having sufficient staff to manage ### 1/5 — Newest update *2023-02-11, version 4.0.6* Lots of issues with newest update with one day maps not working and today the app isn’t working at all. ### 1/5 — Keeps freezing since last update *2023-02-11, version 4.0.6* The app just stays on the initial screen and won't let me do anything. ### 1/5 — Nice try but so far from the goal line *2023-01-14, version 4.0.4* Tried to claim reward but will not let you go beyond zip code. Really not much point to this app as untapp is far better ### 1/5 — Awful update *2022-09-10, version 4.0.0* Previous version was stable and quick , but new version takes forever to load anything. It’s not even usable. ### 1/5 — No beer here *2019-12-01, version 3.0.0* This app will not allow my favorite beer because “it can’t find it”. The app should allow you to add beers that you have had from various breweries. There are way more beers out there than what this app shows. So Lame. ### 1/5 — Could be better *2019-04-20, version 2.9.0* I am someone that likes to do flights at the breweries so I use Untappd a lot to keep track of what I’ve had. Compared to Untappd this app is lacking. My favorite thing on the app is the passport check in. It gives you the locations of all the breweries and let’s you filter by area. It also tells you what breweries are near by. My big complaint with this app is that you can’t find the beers very easily to check them in. According to the app, there are beers that are seasonal staples that are not listed in the app. If they could maybe link up with Untappd or some other app that would update their beers, it would be helpful. Update 4/20/2019: The app continues to disappoint. I have been doing the Summit Brew Path and of the 18 breweries I’ve been to, 3 were available for check-in. You have to jump through hoops to register any breweries that aren’t listed and almost none of the beers are listed in the app. ### 1/5 — Good in Theory, if the app would work *2019-04-19* The idea is really cool, but I think I was only able to successfully use the app once! I don’t know if my connection is bad, but most of the time, it says I’m not connected to the internet, but safari and all my other apps are working fine. When I hit the breweries near me, it comes up with breweries from Youngstown. Then when I look at how far they are away, it reads 1576.9 miles away. Did location come off this update or did it turn off the location? Please update quickly, I use the breweries near me feature so often when I travel. ### 1/5 — Bad App *2018-02-10* This app would be really great if it worked. Can’t save beers, can’t check in beers, won’t find beers by name. Don’t waste your time with this app. I’m deleting it from my phone.
