### 4/5 — OSU My Chart Review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

*2026-06-21, version 11.7.2*

OSU MyChart is a fantastic tool and one of the most convenient resources available for managing your healthcare. It makes communicating with your doctors easy and allows you to check upcoming appointments, view lab results, request referrals, schedule appointments, and access important medical information anytime from your phone, tablet, or computer.

I appreciate being able to find answers to many of my questions without having to call the office or make an extra trip. Everything is organized, accessible, and user-friendly. The convenience and peace of mind it provides are invaluable.

Thank you, OSU, for offering such an excellent tool to help patients stay connected and informed about their healthcare. I highly recommend OSU MyChart to anyone receiving care through OSU. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

### 3/5 — Facility Experience

*2026-05-06, version 11.7.2*

This is a facility that when you walk in right from the front desk to the last person you encounter is superb. The environment is neat and disability friendly. The only problem has to do with its “call center”. You have to be on the phone for too long before getting someone to respond to your call. This cannot be due to call traffic but attitude to work. However, when the call is responded, they are always professional and courteous.

### 3/5 — Can’t message tf

*2026-04-14, version 11.6.4*

Damn near impossible to message a doctor from the hospital who prescribed you meds

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-03-16, version 11.6.4*

Overall great

### 5/5 — WOW!

*2026-03-14, version 11.6.4*

Excellent app, easy to navigate. Great way to access appointments and add to my calendar. All my Health information in one place. Love this app. OSU continues to improve the MyHealth app.

### 5/5 — My chart app

*2026-02-17, version 11.6.4*

I enjoy being able to keep in contact this way with my doctors when I need a refill. It makes it a lot easier than trying to call somebody or get a hold of somebody. This way the messages get sent straight to the doctor to get the refill that I need for medication’s and also if I have any issues or questions it is great because I can ask these questions right on this app. I really enjoy using it and I hope they keep using it. And the doctors at OSU and staff are very respectful, polite, caring, and they always answer in a timely fashion. Sometimes we may think it’s not fast enough, but we also have to realize they have a lot of patience. But I am so very grateful for every doctor that I have that is at OSU. They time you honestly listen to what you have to say as a patient. And try to give you the best answer they can thank God for the MyChart and thank God for these doctors, nurses and staff member at OSU for everything they do

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2026-02-13, version 11.6.4*

I have been able to find any and all relevant medical information at will. My gadget skills are moderate (born in the mid 60’s)

### 5/5 — Excellent communication

*2026-02-05, version 11.5.2*

I love this app and the access I have to my drs and the power it gives me to take control of my health instead of people making decisions for me on like who, when, and limiting my voice. With this app I can reach out to my drs over concerns, I can do Telehealth appointments that work around my schedule and I feel seen and valued as working professional who also has to do a job and can’t miss any day a dr says this is when we will have you come in. It has changed the conversation of care between drs and their patients. I love it

### 2/5 — Uploading Patient Photos to Doctors Problematic

*2026-02-01, version 11.5.2*

Oncology team asked me to send photos of aggressive rash/hives covering my husband’s back/chest/legs/hands which the app wouldn’t let me do. I kept receiving error message “Network Issue.” Turns out photos can be no bigger than 4 mega bytes and must be converted to specific formats for app
to send which I could only perform through a print function on my iPhone 15. In the ER nurses sent over a dozen photos to dermatology. Families should be able to easily send pictures on the app too.

### 4/5 — Family Medical History

*2026-01-24, version 11.5.2*

Trying to add family history info does not work correctly. It makes you add medical condition twice, even if select “add…”. It adds illnesses one did not select when updating from the given list. Poorly QA testing before release.

### 5/5 — More explanations needed

*2026-01-14, version 11.5.2*

Some doctor orders are not clear to this user. I do not know what some communications mean. The statements need to be made more clearly,

### 5/5 — My health is great!

*2026-01-13, version 11.5.2*

I love being able to see what going on with tests and appointments.

### 4/5 — One issue

*2025-12-17, version 11.5.2*

The only request I have is to make connection with other healthcare groups easier to switch between. Sometimes people don’t have a choice and end up with a different healthcare group and they need to easily navigate between groups.

### 5/5 — Best way to contact

*2025-12-11, version 11.5.2*

MyChart is the fastest way to contact a health care provider, with the MESSAGES option. Sometimes a phone call has me punching in so many numbers, wading through all the prompts, then I find I can only leave a voicemail. With MyChart, I’ve even gotten answers to very important medical questions, in just a few minutes! And video visits are easy through MyChart, too.

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2025-12-10, version 11.5.2*

This app is so helpful for all health-related activities! You get immediate test results, you get a visit summary so you don’t have to remember everything, you can schedule appointments and find studies, you can even pay bills. This is the best app I have ever used, given its complexity and utility.

### 2/5 — Going back and forth

*2025-12-02, version 11.5.2*

I go back and forth and never get anywhere
If you work on it everyday I’m sure its easy but once very 4 mouths not so much

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Lack of Information

*2026-08-06, version 11.7.2*

I knew about OSU My Chart. But nothing was explained about the valuable information in it and here A I am 5 weeks post-op and just discovering it now! This information needs to be presented to the patient and caregiver prior to surgery if able. Also there needs to be follow up. The home healthcare provider fell through so we were left to our own devices to navigate through the first few weeks at home. Whatever happened to personal human interaction and care?

### 1/5 — Get rid of the clutter

*2026-07-06, version 11.7.2*

This app would be good except for all of the clutter. Get rid of all the questionnaires and surveys and useless reminders. There should be a way to edit the page and get rid of these things if you never want to see them and they’re in the way of the useful information.

### 1/5 — Nightmare

*2026-06-12, version 11.7.2*

Go anywhere but OSU

### 1/5 — Getting the wrong Dr.

*2026-03-09, version 11.6.4*

Today I wanted to contact Dr Michael Niger, my GP -about a health concern. I was able to message him (only if the Person has contacted me first). Then I get the next screen and it is addressed to Dr Chan -an arthritis Doctor. There is no way to fix this.

### 1/5 — I hate it so much

*2025-11-14, version 11.5.2*

This thing was designed by a Neanderthal. Never remembers my preferences, crashes out, certain modules stop working. It’s truly the worst

### 1/5 — They discriminate against people with no insurance

*2024-12-23*

Cancelled appt for $100 deposit we know nothing about. If you don’t use their mychart your not going to get any customer service. They give your appt away without a call and can’t even leave a message only on mychart will they notify you they're cancelling your appt for not paying a deposit a month before your appt. Then they say they spoke to the person the appt is for who is so sick and they can’t relay the message needing to pay a deposit because they don’t know what’s going on.

**Developer response:** We’re concerned to hear this and would like to learn more. Please give our Patient Experience team a call at 614-293-8944 or reach out by email at osucareconnection@osumc.edu so they can discuss it with you further. The Patient Experience team is available to answer questions or concerns of patients, families, and visitors Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

### 1/5 — New my chart format

*2024-09-10, version 10.9.2*

The new format for results is very difficult to navigate. I liked the old format much better.

### 1/5 — Messaging my doctor

*2024-04-10, version 10.7.3*

When trying to type a message to my doctor for lab work testing and questions regarding past visit while I was typing the message I was kicked out about 5 times and had to re-answer the you might be charged portion. Thankfully, most of the time what I had typed was still there this was very annoying.

### 1/5 — My chart

*2023-12-11, version 10.6.4*

All the things advertised you can do. You can’t do any of them.

### 1/5 — No help

*2023-08-24, version 10.4.2.1*

Lost lost access to program. Went to hosp to get help. Nothing
