## What is OHM?

OHM – A knowledge app about energy and electricity

What exactly is energy and how is energy transferred from one form to another?
Have you thought about how dependent you are on electricity in your daily life, or how quickly our society has developed after electricity was discovered at the end of the 1800s?
Electric cars have revolutionised the automotive industry over just a few years, and the transportation sector is next. High-speed charging of an electric ferry is not as easy as you might think.
OHM is an exciting and interactive way to learn about energy and electricity, and how our society has developed since the dawn of electricity, and not least to catch a glimpse of what an electric future would look like.

### 4/5 — Good! Meant for kids!

*2024-09-18*

I got it as a 16 year-old and felt a little babied at times during certain sections. Overall, I think it's a really good game and a great concept for making education fun!

### 5/5 — Explore Energy and Electricity Safely

*2024-02-12, version 1.2*

OHM is an engaging app that explores energy and electricity, providing a comprehensive understanding of these concepts. From the basics to advanced topics, it’s a knowledge hub for curious minds. The app not only looks back at the history of electricity but also offers glimpses of an electric future. Parents will appreciate that OHM is ad-free, pop-up-free, and doesn’t collect user privacy data. It’s a safe and focused environment for kids to learn.

### 1/5 — Pure indoctrination

*2023-12-29*

This shares outrageous ideas about what the future possibilities of “renewable” energy is. It’s indoctrinating children to hate the power that keeps them alive. Essentially convincing them into believe obscure climate goals are more important than their lives. They’re not.

### 1/5 — Small text

*2022-05-27*

This text is way too small on my iPhone SE. maybe on a tablet…

### 2/5 — Lesson in electricity is wrong

*2021-12-01*

Electricity is certainly NOT the movement of electrons not through the conveyance of charge. Electrons will barely move in an electrical current. I encourage the creators of this app to read about the Poynting vector. Electricity is the movement of energy through an electromagnetic field. Yes, even through wires.

### 5/5 — Great Concept, But Not Enough Puzzles

*2021-01-23*

Whoever designed this did a great job. Only wish there was more than one subject to learn about. I finished the entire game in an hour and was disappointed there was nothing else to play. As an adult, I found it very calming (other than the guitar part) and even I learned a lot at age 40. Keep going with this idea and make it into courses about biology, math, history, etc. You could make a LOT of money off of this if you put your time into it and made it a full spectrum of subjects to learn about. Honestly, the possibilities are endless and you could be making a fortune. Don’t let someone else beat you to it.

### 2/5 — Gets stuck a lot

*2020-08-10*

Won’t move past the electric wheel in 2 levels... kinda dumb.

### 5/5 — Fun

*2020-04-19*

Very simplified concepts, good science, though a little slow paced at times. I’d pay money for a rhythm game similar do the power lines minigame. Great design.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2018-01-23, version 1.1*

Very helpful on educating people on renewable energy sources.

### 5/5 — Fun interactive app

*2017-09-25*

It was interesting to learn the different technologies.
