It works when it wants. Defeats the purpose and element of surprise. ### 3/5 — Camera feature not working *2024-09-22, version 12.3.5* Whenever my partner and I try to use it, the camera feature isn’t working. We’ve tried so many things now to fix it but it’s not working anymore. It's basically unsuable now unless it gets fixed. ### 4/5 — Vibes too intense *2023-12-23, version 12.3.3* I recently transitioned from a series of old freestyle g vibes to a blue motion nex 2. Mainly, I was looking for something I didn’t need wired headphones to use and was usb charged, but keeping the music function was the most important thing to me. I really like the Nex 2’s design and the range of play options on the app, but I can’t help comparing the music experience to my old freestyles and the freestyles definitely come out on top. The reason why is the little volume control dial on the old transmitters - I could adjust the intensity of the vibrations to the perfect level for me, which I’ll admit was generally as low as I could set it and still hear/feel the music, and then I could go for quite literally hours and could feel the beat of the music better. Now that I’m using the Nex 2, that level of control seems to have entirely disappeared - the less intense button on the device doesn’t seem to do anything in music mode and adjusting the volume in the app only affects the sound not the vibe’s intensity. If there’s a different control for it in the app, I can’t find it. At most, I can only play for about 5 songs before the intensity is too much and I start to go numb. Not only are the vibrations to intense/persistent (even when the sound of the song ends, pauses briefly, or goes quiet, they continue at a high intensity), but they’re too consistent (there’s much less variation in the vibe pattern regardless of song selection). If I’d never had a freestyle, this probably wouldn’t be a problem, but as it is, it leaves me really disappointed. The freestyles were great but a bit outdated and while I wanted more convenience in charging/wirelessnsss, I didn’t realize that by upgrading my device I would be loosing the thing that made the freestyles my favorite toys. Please, if it’s at all possible, give me some way to be able to adjust the intensity in music mode (or tell me how to find it, if it’s already there) so that I can love the Nex 2 as much or more than my old freestyles. ### 2/5 — Would be great if it maintained a consistent connection *2022-09-25, version 12.2.0* Shouldn’t have to restart every thirty seconds ### 2/5 — App needs work; loses connection frequently *2022-06-26, version 12.1.0* My two biggest gripes are the frequent connection drops between this app and the Esca 2 and the app not refreshing songs in my Apple Music library. The songs are on my phone but the app doesn’t see anything but the songs that were there when it was first installed. The bigger problem is the amount of times the device disconnects in one session of use. But I wanted to try the app-connected toys because I’ve seen a lot of stuff about it online. I went with the blueMotion NEX2 and it was pretty straight forward. The app pretty much held my hand through the process of set up. No issues, easy to use, 10/10. Definitely now interested in other app connected products ### 5/5 — Lumen/Vibrating Thong *2021-09-22, version 12.0.1* Let me just start by saying that OhMiBod has the most advanced and best working sex toys I have ever used. Truly nothing compares. The fact that I can remote control my toys is quite honestly mind blowing, and makes for the BEST type of secret pleasure. My boyfriend and I love to go out to dinner while I wear my vibrating thong, and he watches me squirm during apps, the meal and dessert! The app is also extremely easy to use, and I don’t have to spend an hour figuring out how to make things work. We downloaded the app on his Samsung phone and were able to control it as long as he didn’t leave the app or lock his phone. As soon as he did it would lose connection and we would have to turn the vibrator off and back on again and then go through the entire set up process over again. I tried downloading the app on my iPhone and it won’t even open. The app crashes every time I try, before I even get the chance to connect to Bluetooth. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it several times and still no luck. The whole gimmick with this vibe is the ability to control it remotely. Without the app it’s just like any other vibrator, and I’ve already got much better ones than this. It’s sad because the app did work well when it actually worked. OhMiBod needs to put a lot more effort into their app support.
