### 4/5 — Missing a value

*2022-08-18, version 2.3*

Please create a check box for AC or DC. That will make this app complete

### 5/5 — Of my most used apps

*2020-09-11, version 2.2*

Love this app. Simple easy to use not cluttered with anything else. Working Ohms law is significant enough to justify 100% focus on it.
Thank you.

### 2/5 — Reset does not work

*2020-07-28, version 2.2*

This was working great but now reset does not work when I need to input new variables.
I have to force close app and reopen to change variables. Please fix ASAP

### 2/5 — Not good anymore

*2020-07-15, version 2.2*

Used to work great. Now in order to enter a new variable you have to force close the app. Reset doesn’t work after the first time.

### 5/5 — Lifesaver

*2020-07-11, version 2.2*

I used this app for an extensive conversion to LED’s at a museum I work for. The app is simple to use, fast, and because there’s no distracting clutter, helpful in keeping focus when there is a lot to be done. This app made my phone one of the most useful tools I used. Would that everything were this useful.

### 2/5 — 3 Phase

*2020-05-21, version 2.1*

This App needs a 3 phase option and it would be a great app

### 5/5 — Helpful

*2020-05-08, version 2.1*

This is one the best app for calculating ohms law and power law.

### 5/5 — Perfect companion

*2020-03-29, version 2.1*

Great little tool, quick and easy to input data what’s not to love would buy again in a flash

### 5/5 — Nice App

### 3/5 — Please fix!

App used to work fine and never have a problem. It won’t open now! This was the most helpful app!

### 5/5 — Used with RV

*2019-07-02, version 2.1*

Working in electronics, I used this app for a long time. Friend bought a camper rated for 30 amps. He asked how to figure out how much current each device he used. Showed him this app, doesn’t call me when he wanted a new coffee maker.

### 5/5 — Does what it says on the tin

*2019-04-25, version 2.1*

Doesn’t ask for ridiculous subscriptions, ads are only a dollar to remove, works perfectly. A model for other utility apps

### 5/5 — Very Helpful

*2019-03-11, version 2.1*

Saves having to use calculator to do manual calculations. Also use it to verify my calculations should I use a calculator.

### 5/5 — Nice

*2019-01-18, version 2.1*

I really like the app but could it give a example of the problems I type, I want to know how the calculator got the answer.

### 5/5 — Even a moron can use this correctly

*2018-12-19, version 2.1*

This is a great app! Even if you know nothing about electrical values or anything that relates to power or voltage, you can still use the app to figure out what you need to have to do your work fairly safely (there’s always gonna be that one guy out there somewhere). I also want to thank the developer for putting the ads where they are not in the way or popping up in the middle of your equations. They are very visible and not in your face about it and that actually makes me look at who they are and what they are trying to sell instead of mindlessly clicking them out of my way. Way to go guys! Top notch in my book and will definitely stay in my arsenal of tools.

### 5/5 — Ohms law

*2018-03-14, version 2.1*

Excellent and handy tool. Thanks so very much!

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2018-01-22, version 2.1*

Best Ohms law calculator around!

### 5/5 — Just Great

*2017-12-07, version 2.1*

No crazy bells or whistles, just a very convenient, user-friendly calculator. The ads are REALLY small and don’t get in the way. I paid the $0.99 to get rid of the ads, not because they were bothersome, but to say thanks to the developer(s) for a great app that I use a couple of times per week.

### 5/5 — Great

*2017-08-23, version 2.1*

Great app for when you build your coils

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Broken

*2020-03-01, version 2.1*

Large calculations crash the app.

Ex. 40pA & 100k immediately crashes the app.

### 1/5 — It now has ads!

*2017-06-10, version 1.1*

This is my first review I've ever written. As a technical trainer for a major corporation I tell a ton of my trainees to download this app because of its simplicity and ease of use. Now they have to put up with the ads on the recent update. I would have gladly contacted my corporate office and had them pay for a license to add it to our catalog or had each tech use his credit card to pay $0.99 to keep this simple. Used to be awesome but it is now following suite of every other app on the store and adding payed "options" that were there before.

### 1/5 — I really like this app

*2017-02-12, version 1.1*

I really like this app as it does what it's supposed to do. Having said that it no longer works at least on my iPhone 7plus running iOS 10.2. I would definitely rate this app at least a four if they fixed whatever is wrong with it.

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2016-12-26, version 1.1*

Was good for a couple of months now it could constantly crashes.

### 1/5 — Bait and switch!

*2016-12-21, version 1.1*

Why does this app shows get app with no price on it, then when you click install, it charges you $27.04? What a ripoff!

### 1/5 — Not great

*2016-12-01, version 1.1*

Useless keeps crashing

### 1/5 — Totally out of date

*2016-11-17, version 1.1*

This app hasn't been updated since iOS v6 in 2013. It is unstable and crashes frequently under iOS 10. It needs to be updated!

### 1/5 — Crashed

*2016-11-06, version 1.1*

Just keeps crashing when I enter ohms value POS!

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2016-10-20, version 1.1*

Crashes within seconds on iPhone 7 plus running the newest iOS 10 version.

### 1/5 — It works. Series single resistor ONLY

*2016-02-20, version 1.1*

I was hoping it would provide much more. It doesn't provide parallel circuits, combination circuits, impedance, reactance, or anything that might be useful. If you need this app that can only mean you're too lazy or dumb to remember a few SIMPLE math problems.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2025-12-19, version 2.3*

App is user friendly and provides accurate numbers for calculating my math

### 5/5 — Just Perfect

*2025-04-18, version 2.3*

I love this App and use it all the time. It excels due to its simplicity. Enter the values you know and bang - the rest fill-in. No in-app purchases is just a massive bonus. I would pay for this app.

### 5/5 — Awesome App

*2024-08-20, version 2.3*

I have been using it for many years

### 5/5 — Used a few times

*2024-07-13, version 2.3*

Great app as I can’t always remember these formulas so it’s been great to use.

### 5/5 — Good app

*2023-07-01, version 2.3*

Excellent apps , easy to use and very handy, happy user…..

### 5/5 — Excellent app.

*2022-03-04, version 2.3*

Magic app. Always at your finger tips. So easy to carry out ‘what if’s’.

### 5/5 — Amazing app!!!

*2022-01-20, version 2.3*

I’m a renewable energy field service technician and I probably use this app once a day, it’s legit!

### 5/5 — Very simple works perfectly

*2021-08-14, version 2.3*

No hard to use interfaces, don’t have to select the formula to use like other apps, just punch in the numbers you know, and it spits out what you need. Fast easy and simple.

### 5/5 — I can do it in my head, but the guys can’t

*2021-03-30, version 2.3*

I am an engineer responsible for maintaining 400-buildings, on teeth-three compounds. I can do Ohm’s law in my head close enough for checking 120 &240-Volt circuits. But the guys who work for me can’t.
So, I have them load this calculator. It is simple to use and fool proof.

### 5/5 — FANTASTIC!!!

*2021-03-12, version 2.3*

I have been using this for building my coils on my rda to use on my vape and it’s so easy to use especially being right at your fingertips
