## What is Oikonome?

Oikonome gives you one clear verdict a day. Every morning it looks at your fixed bills, your income and what you have spent so far, and tells you whether you are on budget today — and the single number to keep under to stay that way.

WHAT THE APP DOES
- Today: your left-to-spend number, why it is what it is, savings goals and a cash forecast
- Transactions: the full ledger with search, filters, categories, notes and receipts — with the merchant's logo, location and check number when your bank provides them
- Bills: recurring bills found in your own history, grouped by cycle, envelope pools with progress meters, and proposals to approve or dismiss
- Accounts: balances by institution with sync status
- Spending, net worth and cash-flow views over time
- Retirement outlook, reimbursement pairing, rules and an assistant that answers from your own ledger
- Push alerts when something needs a decision
- Biometric unlock with a time-away lock

YOUR ACCOUNT
The app signs in to your Oikonome account at app.oikonome.com. Bank connections come from Plaid; your data lives on our servers in the United States, encrypted at rest, and is never sold or used for advertising. There are no ads and no telemetry in the app.

SUBSCRIPTION
Oikonome Hosted is an auto-renewable subscription, billed monthly or yearly. The price is shown in the app before you subscribe; you can also subscribe on the web at oikonome.com/pricing and sign in here with the same account. An in-app subscription is charged to your Apple Account, renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and is managed or canceled in your App Store account settings.

Oikonome is also free to self-host — the same software runs on a machine you own; use the web app there. Details at oikonome.com.

Bills follow merchant identity, so a renamed or merged merchant keeps paying its bill; the Merchants page is rebuilt around one list with a detail screen, Rename and Merge into; spellings that look like one business are offered for merging. Cash Flow adds This month and 1m. Remove a stuck pending charge after 14 days. Attach a check photo from your library or a check PDF. Faster merchant detail; fixes across reports, sync and restore.

The daily push notification now says the verdict — on or over budget, the top driver, today's allowance — instead of "your verdict is ready".
Setup asks how the daily verdict should reach you: email, push, both or off, and at what hour.
Email & Push, and a Preferences section for the home page, replace the old Email settings; the Bills calendar stands alone with a day's events one tap away.
Bills, envelopes and the month verdict agree again about early payments and annual pools; the status-bar icon is drawn correctly.

• Lost your password, authenticator and recovery codes? There are now two ways back in, including a 7-day recovery you can cancel from any device.
• Ledger filters rebuilt; account and category are drop-downs.
• The Accounts header is two small doors: Connect (owners) and Add account.
• Sheets stay above the keyboard.
• Reimbursements can pair a card charge with the refund credited back to that card.
• Feedback is also bug reporting: one form, two kinds.
• A reduced daily allowance says how many no-spend days bring it back.
• The notification icon renders cleanly on every Android edge.
