This app does a very good job of achieving the style of painting I try to execute. So, it’s also very dispiriting to see it done in one second as compared to my 4 hours with paints, brushes and canvas. “Is painting worth it anymore?” crossed my mind. But, of course, the process of painting by hand has great meditative and creative value. Even if it can be very frustrating at times. It’s a joke! You have control over virtually nothing while the app just willie nilly turns your photo into a dime store oil painting that controls hues, the type of board, and allows typing on the photo. What an absolute joke!
