## What is Ok To Drive?

Know your limit. Own your night.
We use a medically-informed algorithm — designed alongside doctors — to estimate your Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) in real time, based on your weight, gender, drinks consumed, food intake and fatigue.

How it works
Enter what you're drinking and we do the math. Your BAC updates as the night progresses, giving you a clear picture of where you stand — green, yellow, or red.

What is BAC?
Blood Alcohol Content is the percentage of alcohol in your bloodstream. It peaks 30–70 minutes after drinking. Despite what you've heard, nothing lowers BAC except time — not coffee, not cold showers, not water. We'll tell you exactly when you're clear.

What you get
- Real-time BAC tracking with a traffic light system
- Notifications when you're fit to drive again
- Hydration reminders to stay ahead of the hangover
- Hangover predictions so you know what tomorrow looks like
- Multiple user profiles — track the whole group
- A calendar view of your drinking habits over time
- A home screen widget so your BAC is always one glance away
- A full drink library plus custom drink builder

A word of honesty
Everyone metabolizes alcohol differently. This app gives you a well-informed estimate — not a guarantee. Never use it as the sole basis for deciding to drive.
I built this because I believe people make better choices when they have better information. Consider this your smarter drinking companion, not a substitute for medical advice.

### 3/5 — Get it…. Maybe

*2026-07-10*

It’s hard to find a easy to use alcohol tracker like this app. It was great until the recent update and man it lags and sucks . I’m still using it but please make it more responsive.

### 5/5 — Get it

*2026-06-11*

It’s hard to find a easy to use alcohol tracker like this app and I’m glad they made improvements and kept it going. It’s solid and easy to use. A must download for anyone looking to track and moderate their drinking.

### 3/5 — Slow down

*2025-08-17*

The app is great. Only downfall is it slows overtime. About every 6 months I have to delete and redownload.

### 1/5 — Relies on one size fits all

*2024-08-13, version 1.1*

The app doesn’t even let you tailer the size of the wine or the strength.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2024-03-27, version 1.1*

This app promises much but is confusing and unfathomable. It is not user friendly and there are no instructions. Don’t bother wasting 99p.

### 3/5 — Quite nice

*2023-01-11, version 1.1*

Very handy app, but it would have been better if I could add a drink, not in full%, I.e beer at 3.5%, not 3 or 4 %. And add specific ml, or a fraction of available option. At the moment I have to add a drink at the lesser fraction to log it. Otherwise I'd give it 4 or 5.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2022-01-01, version 1.1*

This is completely USELESS!
We don’t do fluid ounces in uk only ml
Waste of 89 p

### 2/5 — Disappointing

*2021-10-30, version 1.1*

I used another app of the same kind that is no longer supported so I had to find a new one. This isn’t as good. You can add custom drinks but flexibility of drink sizes/alcohol content is limited, instead of being able to enter exact amounts. You also can’t sort your drink list, so you have to scroll to the bottom of the list each time for your custom drinks. There’s no way to let the app know when your drink is finished, which makes a big difference to its effects. There’s also no visual representation which the previous app had. It’s really just an ‘OK’ app that needs improvement.

### 1/5 — Almost useless

*2021-07-19*

This app is far inferior to Green Light, which I used for years but for some reason is no longer available.
I know this app only cost $.99, but that is actually too bunch considering it is functionally useless.

### 3/5 — Not quite there.

*2020-10-25*

This app has some nice features. My old favorite app, which hasn’t been updated in years, crashes frequently and it makes me incredibly sad. I’ve been looking for another app that will show me a graph of my estimated BAC and allow me to add multiple drinks. This app doesn’t feature the duration option, where I can show that I’ve been sipping on the same drink for an hour and therefore would alter my “time until sober”. That is my biggest issue with this app. I likely won’t use it until that feature is added but once it is, I can see this being a huge hit. The UI is nice looking and it’s easy to use. The other comment I have would be to fix the grammar on the banner. The sentences aren’t capitalized at the beginning and that’s just a bit picky thing that bring it down just a bit. Otherwise, keep updating developers, and I think this will be a great app to use in the future.
