So I had been using CapCut to edit my videos, but I hated how the limit was 3 minutes PER VIDEO. So I went onto the App Store and instantly saw this and was like the reviews are good and stuff. That’s when I entered the app. I started recording over 3 minutes but the thing wouldn’t stop. I was so happy and the subscription is literally 2 dollars but I’m not gonna do it until I really need it. Awesome, awesome app guys you did great. Also this app isn’t hard on you. There are no ads, no cookies, no banner ads. Just a recording button and some other stuff. This is legit better quality than CapCut and stuff and thank you for all the hard work! This app is such a small app too; it’s only 10 MB!! Awesome. I love it. I will tell EVERYONE about your amazing app. Have a great day and DEFINITELY download if your looking for a replacement for CapCut or Snapchat or TikTok or whatever editing app you have. Bye!

Timestamps!

This new feature lets you add a timestamp to your clips, showing the exact recording date and time. These will be rendered on your exported videos in the bottom-right corner. Look for the option in the Settings menu under ‘Video Overlays’.

For a small, one-time purchase you can now add an old-school camcorder feel to your projects.

Other bits:
 - Fixed issue with blinking camera view
 - Updated ’Show Watermark’ setting to new picker to select video overlays
 - Improved support for variable font sizes
 - Added a cool new timestamp purchase animation

Notes:
 - There still an iOS issue with the locked camera capture ability. When your clips don’t seem to import, try opening the extension and closing the extension and open the app from your home screen. Apple is aware of the problem and will hopefully release a fix soon.

Lot’s of little fixes for your enjoyment.

Widgets and LockScreen Capture:
- Fixed a crash in the LockScreen Capture extension after recording a video.
- Inactivity timer no longer disrupts the app’s state when opening from a shortcut, widget or locked camera.
- No longer showing “Touch and hold the screen to record video” on the LockScreen Capture extension when project already has recordings.
- Closing a project opened from a widget now always animates appropriately.
- Fixed clip deletion animation in the LockScreen Capture extension.
- Starting a ‘Quick Preview’ from the Locked Capture Extension now actually starts a quick preview.

Touch handling:
- The player seek gesture is much less sensitive. Pausing by keeping the screen pressed doesn’t lead to unwanted seeks.
- Decreased tap area of delete and share button, hopefully causing less accidental taps.

State handling logic:
- Camera flash no longer stays on a bit too long after recording.
- Fixed clip selection behavior after deleting a clip from the long-press menu in the editor.
- Deleting a clip that is still being processed (still shown as red in the timeline) now deletes that clip, not the one before it.
- Fixed inconsistencies with starting/stopping the camera when opening the app or quickly moving between projects.
