Thanks. ### 4/5 — Useful app for babies *2013-07-26, version 1.2.1* This is an especially useful app for assessing OKN (both vertical and horizontal) in babies. Have found it easier to use on the iPad than the iPhone. Nevertheless have still used it on the iPhone. The Amsler is handy as well. Would like to be able to use full App versus just the lines going down screen. Not really worth my money or time. ### 3/5 — Good, but needs some improvement *2025-02-01* My vision therapist recommended this app to help with eye stretches. It’s good, but I wish I could change the direction the bars move. I have to do this exercise with a patch on because my eyes don’t track together. So I’d like it if the bars could travel left or right and up or down. **Developer response:** Hi JobbbieBo, You can change the direction of the bars by swiping on the screen in the opposite direction against how they're moving. Also if you lock screen rotation on your device, you can physically rotate your device to control how the bars are moving. ### 3/5 — Want horizontal stripes *2021-12-26* Mine will only display vertical stripes and I need horizontal as well as vertical for mdds symptoms. I am not sure if that is possible with this app. If so, I don’t know how to do it **Developer response:** I believe you can achieve what you want using rotation lock on your iOS device. Rotate the device to the orientation you want and lock it and then the stripes will continue flowing the way you locked the orientation. You may not even need to use rotation lock and just physically rotate your device from portrait to landscape. I feel more stable now that I don't feel so stressed and dizzy. It's pretty expensive for just playing a pattern. And you'd be outright crazy to not pay $3.99 to see these changes. Also, the eye strain of having hella bad tunnel vision caused by the iphone was causing my dry eye because it's reversed with this app. They should make this technology have more peer reviewed double blind studies and also make it more well known that cybersickness and feeling like the phone is making you sick doesn't mean you are crazy it may just mean you need these exercises the help with something not natural like looking at a smartphone. Even my family members said they felt better using the app a few times. I feel like the smartphone made me feel like a zombie before and just feel a lot less tense and more relaxed. Look up the National Geographic article on cybersickness and you will start to see what some people suffer from with these smartphones being so prevalent. ### 5/5 — OKN strips *2021-03-07* This works quite well. Tap the screen to make the strips go faster. Level 1 through 5. I’m using this app to treat my nerve/ muscle paralysis in my left eye. It was recommended by my therapist. This exercise and time and hope. **Developer response:** The strips should cycle through speeds by tapping on the screen. The only complain ill make is after opening the OKN strips if i need to go back to the menu containing amsler grid , i can only do so after i quit and close the application and open it again.. I had a question about using the app, so I wrote customer service (there's a link right where you download the app.) Within minutes, on a SUNDAY no less, the app designer himself emailed me back, and continued emailing with me three times until I was satisfied and had the answer I needed.
