However, Ola claimed the code was expired, and now I cannot request any more calls! Ola keeps saying, “sorry, we’re unable to serve your request,” when I ask for an OTP via call now. I answered that it is but the driver denied n insisted that I pay extra or it will go from his pocket. I being a regular customer n travelling the same route for years and highly aware about the fare n toll calls the customer care to clear this out. The customer care executive very conveniently tells me that the toll was not included as it is not registered and I will have to pay the toll separately to the driver. I questioned him why it was not informed at the time of booking the ride that it is not included n I will have to pay it separately or u could have added it in the final fare if it wasn’t added at the time of booking because the route taken was as per the route shown by you n I did not take this route as per my wish but it was according to the app so why would I pay off the records, also they could have given a route which did not have toll involved in it n he replies I will escalate the matter n I cannot help you with this n u will have to pay the driver. Such bad work ethics n worst customer service blends in together to make Ola as pathetic as it can be. Even when it comes to cancellation they charge you incorrectly n than to waive it off they ask you to mail n even after that they do not do it but waste your time by meaningless responses. Had decreased using ola due to this reason but would stop using it completely after today’s toll experience. Cabs are unclean, when you book premier cabs, they send you the same used cab, but they charge higher prices, 2x prices and also expect a tip? The cancellation rate is crazy high, you book 6 times to get one confirmed cab. There’s no respect for the customers, and no integrity from the drivers. It’s as frustrating as it gets. There’s a rider mafia, and these apps are helpless in front of the drivers. Overall, a very very poor experience, not sustainable if you don’t own a car here. I did book a Ola once but got good communication a text with the driver a text saying they had stopped to get gas in their car. Recently I needed an Ola at 4am one arrived in 5mins. I did catch Uber but I had some extremely bad experiences with them from male drivers asking very personal questions that were not answered . I get coupons all the time saved $5 on to two rides recently that’s not the first time. No idea why and he tried to say I said to go to mount Gravatt even though I have never been there nor staying there etc then took me to the police station because I questioned why on earth I was going there!! Lucky I work with QPS explained what had happened and I could go home so then had to spend another $25 to get back to hotel!! Will never user this company again I wasted around $100 on their mistakes last night! ### 5/5 — Dangerous use of mobile while on trip *2019-07-03* 98% of ola drivers use mobiles while driving which is very very risky to both drivers and passengers. Kindly avoid it ### 5/5 — Ola airport pickup unreliable *2019-06-26* This morning I scheduled a pickup from hotel to airport at 4:00 am for my 6:30 flight. The driver was assigned 10 mins before the scheduled pickup and the driver was insistent in calling me to find out where I was going and just 2 mins before the scheduled time he cancelled because he was going to the airport. The fare was 700 The app was supposed to reassign and send someone in the scheduled time but to my surprise the app cancelled the full trip and rebook I had to rebook another cab luckily unlike in Bangalore waiting time usually is 30 min this time I got a cab within 10 min. The fare I got was 737 inclusive of everything The driver started from my hotel with in 2 mins he said he had a flat tire and will take 5 mins to fix but then I realised he did not have the necessary jack to fix the puncture tire At 4:20 in the morning there were no one and used archaic way of lining up stones and fixing the tire When I reached the airport I was in for a surprise to find my fare was 200 more than what I booked and the driver drove pretty rashly to get to the airport Overall nightmare hope Ola take action --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
