### 2/5 — Not working anymore

*2025-11-09, version 2.1.4*

Was working quite reliably for over a year since I got my OWS Pros. Since iOS 26, this app has stopped working. Does not detect my OWS Pros. The Oladance website also seems to not be there anymore. Has the company folded? A real shame if so

### 2/5 — Meh

*2025-05-02*

Great idea, executed pretty poorly. You can change a few things as a “guest” but you’re unable to sign in at all.

### 1/5 — Needs Phone number or email to use the app. Uninstalled and returning the product.

*2023-08-24, version 2.1.0*

Bought a OWS Pro today and wanna try out the focus mode, only found out it needs the app to set it up. Downloaded the app, only found out that it needs to be signed in with Email Address or Phone number to use a already built in local functionality.
It’s a very scummy practice and should not bear. Just uninstalled the app and going to return the product to amazon.

### 1/5 — App is Terrible. Please Fix

*2023-08-15*

I've been a long time OWS user and just gifted two friends with a set for each of them to enjoy. The app completely failed and would not recognize the codes provided. The 1st generation of the app was the best without any login or verification required. You are ruining your products ability to expand its consumer presence with this terrible app. Why can't you get it right? Not going to buy anymore of your products until you fix the app. And please do not ask me to contact you to give you more information. You should know from all the feedback that the app is bad.

**Developer response:** We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused to you
Please contact customer service on the app to provide your phone number

### 1/5 — Awful

*2023-08-13, version 2.1.0*

Got the OWS Pros. Download app.. try to sign in. Put code in, doesn’t work, wants phone number or email which is absurd. Completely unable to sign in so the app is worthless.. why bother even having it up.

### 1/5 — Trash

*2023-08-13*

App is garbage. Verification doesn’t work so I can’t even connect the headset which I now also expect to be trash. Crappy product covered up by glossy marketing.

### 1/5 — Cannot sign in

*2023-07-02*

This is a temporary low rating to tell the developer there’s a bug that makes you agree to privacy/terms to sign in, but it still doesn’t allow sign in, so the app is unusable. If I delete and reinstall, at least a button appears to let me click agree but the app keeps asking for agreement after I agree, and after the initially openingthere’s not even a button to agree.

### 1/5 — I don’t trust the company

*2023-06-27*

I love my oledance headphones. Great sound and comfortable.

The oledance compay is lame!!
Why do I need to sign in to the app?
Why did they make that change?
There is NO reason that they need my phone number or email.
What are they trying to steal?

### 1/5 — Can’t login. App looks like it’s ditched

*2023-06-20*

The app didn’t used to require an account. Fine, whatever but I can even create one to login.

### 1/5 — 6/20/23; Log in issue

*2023-06-20, version 2.0.4*

Personally I don’t care that I have to log in but if you’re going to add it, at the very least make sure it works.

### 1/5 — Why create an account?

*2023-06-16, version 2.0.4*

I’ve had these buds for close to a year and enjoyed them so much that I recommended them to many. The app was easy to use and modify. Got this update and it requires phone or email to sign in. That seems odd, but in a hurry I entered the email and even after 30 min I haven’t received a code.
Can we go back to just use the app as it was please.

### 1/5 — Uninstalled after update

*2023-06-10*

I uninstalled this after it started asking for phone or email. Too bad I had already purchased three pairs of headphones and recommended them to friends. Just proves that any company can go bad and anyone can ruin their app at any time. Fortunately the hardware is 100% usable without the app.

### 2/5 — App causes audio issues

*2023-06-06*

I like the functions of this app, in theory. When I open the app, my audio starts to cut out intermittently. It really interferes with the primary purpose of the app.

### 1/5 — Forced Logins

*2023-05-17, version 2.0.3*

It should be possible to use the app without an account. Nope, nope, nope.

### 1/5 — Sound is awful

*2023-05-12*

Buyer beware. I can't confirm that Tom's Guide reviewed these by a search on their website. The audio is muffled and the quality of the components feel cheap. Returning these and deleting this app.

### 1/5 — Bug issues

*2025-12-12, version 2.1.4*

I replaced my OWS Pros after losing one of the earbuds. The only way to re-pair them together is through the app. App does not allow you to connect to your earbuds due to bug. I had to use my friend’s android phone to re-pair my earbuds. (Android app also buggy as you can’t sign in on that although it’s not relevant)

### 1/5 — Down hill

*2025-11-12*

I have bought ola dance for several years, so much so to where I have bought multiple at one time for me to have backup. Over the last several months the app won’t connect to my devices, it won’t even pull up the devices and just locks up. I have uninstalled the app multiple times and same thing. I also bought a new set of pros (that were hard to find) one of the headphones disconnects all the time.

### 1/5 — App broken after ios 18 update.

*2024-12-16*

Although the pros connect to the phone with no problem, they fail to connect to the app after iOS 18. The developers are sleeping over there with no updates for 10mos. Really?! These Oladance Pros are expensive, how about some support?

### 1/5 — App broken after ios 18 update.

*2024-11-19*

Although the pros connect to the phone with no problem, they fail to connect to the app after iOS 18. The developers are sleeping over there with no updates for 9mos. Really? These Oladance Pros are expensive, how about some support?

### 1/5 — Bad app

*2024-09-26*

Horrible app. I’m paired to multiple devices. This app will randomly turn other pairings on that I turned off to use the one I want. I’m connected to the tv, computer and phone. Right now I’m on my computer and it keeps randomly turning the tv and phone even though I have them turned off to use them on my computer.

### 1/5 — Poor usage with OWS OLA headset

*2024-03-30*

The whole app is terribly buggy to the point of being unusable. Pairing order between button and headset matters. Expect have tone-pair multiple times. Equalizer doesn’t work with an error showing up that says “equalizer not applied”. If youbisenitnon yellow mode it can completely upset ability to use with music. You’ll have to exit the “talkie” tab and go back to music.

Basically, the thing is a mess of an app. The headset works ok but don’t expect good performance out of using for anything else and or with the included button.

### 1/5 — App does not work

*2023-10-04*

I am unable to accept the user agreement as there is no button. I deleted and downloaded again and a button popped up, I hit agree but the was prompted to accept user agreement again. But when you click back in there is no button.

**Developer response:** Hello user,
Sorry to hear that. Please specify at which page does the issue happen. Usually you need to accept the user agreement and privacy agreement before using the app. Just need to know if you need a no button to disagree the agreements? Thanks a lot!

### 1/5 — “Governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China”

*2023-09-13, version 2.1.0*

Unfair that customers aren’t told before purchasing headphones from Oladance that, in order to use the phone application to set up preferences for the headphones once they get them, they have to agree to be governed by Chinese law. And there is no alternative way to set up/program their new headphones. If they don’t “agree” to the terms of service (or maybe just want the chance to read up on Chinese civil law before accepting, to know what they are agreeing to), they cannot control their own headphones and have no right to adjust preferences. We should be provided with the terms of service BEFORE purchasing the headphones, so we can decide whether to agree to them before spending the money. I live in the US and I know very little about civil law in China… I’d like to know *before* I buy an electronic whether I will have to fly to China and be governed by Chinese law if there is a dispute. Obviously I didn’t agree to these terms of service, so now I can’t use the application in order to use my own property. Also, kind of rude to have such a massive terms of service just for headphones, because you know that very few of your customers will have the time/energy/capacity/ability to read through such a tome… and then to put this at the end: 4) Governing law This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Any dispute between both parties shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. In case the negotiation fails, a lawsuit shall be filed with the court where OLADANCE Technology Co., Ltd. is domiciled.

### 1/5 — App doesn’t work

*2023-09-01, version 2.1.0*

Before the update I was able to use the app.New update requires email or phone to login and it doesn’t work! The app states “Open Bluetooth setting page and connect the buds to proceed” I connect via Bluetooth and the app still doesn’t work.

### 1/5 — Requiring phone / email is a show stopper

*2023-08-25*

Cannot use

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great headphones!

*2025-05-22*

Great headphones regardless of the app issues

### 5/5 — Works fine

*2024-08-14*

I’m not experiencing issues with the app so far after updating the firmware on my OW2’s. The touch control options are good, especially the swipe controls, and the equalizer helps with how bass heavy these buds are.

### 5/5 — They listened to their customers

*2023-11-05*

Don’t need to sign in anymore. GoodJob

### 5/5 — Favorite earbuds

*2023-06-21*

I shopped off and on for quality earbuds that do not plug the ear canal and decided on Oladance. I’ve been very happy with these earbuds. When the app has had issues, tech support responded promptly and fixed the issue. Would recommend to others.

### 5/5 — Simply the best! Incredible product.

*2023-05-10, version 2.0.3*

Just got these and the fit and sound is game changing. No more sore ears and I can hear what’s going on around me! This company is going places.

Update (2023-05-10): To all the cry babies 😭 regarding registration and “data harvesting,” grow up. You’re literally using a 24/7 data harvesting device. Maybe you need to buy and listen to Edward Snowden’s audiobook and set your Oladance EQ to “Spoken Word EQ.”

### 5/5 — Simply the best! Incredible product.

*2023-01-26, version 1.0.10*

Just got these and the fit and sound is game changing. No more sore ears and I can hear what’s going on around me! This company is going places.

### 5/5 — Just what I needed

*2023-01-20*

Easy way to control the features, and now it I can turn them off without having to put back into case.

### 4/5 — 专注模式比较鸡肋

*2024-02-07, version 2.1.4*

总是自动关闭，希望改进

### 3/5 — Not support oladance wearable stereo b1

*2023-05-11*

This application has not support new device b1, I can’t add b1 device into app even Bluetooth added b1 device. Developer should work for this.

### 3/5 — Account/Email is a Bummer

*2023-05-10*

Requiring users to provide email or phone number to access the app is immoral.
