The app was last updated two years ago??? Can we please get some bug fixes? Or a new developer? ### 1/5 — Can't log in with iOS 7 *2013-10-11* This app does not allow logins on iOS 7 devices. It also needs to be updated to support modern screen sizes. ### 2/5 — App no longer works *2012-02-27* Historically this app has been very useful and handy, but it no longer works. When opening, it prompts for an upgrade, but there isn't an update available. I hope it's fixed soon! ### 3/5 — Convenient, but basic *2021-01-02* I like that I don’t have to have my library card to check out books, just need to open the barcode in the app. I don’t put many items on hold because it is a little difficult to do, not everything I’d found if you don’t type it exactly right.. The app is very basic and seems quite outdated. A little slow. They are updating the libraries, maybe time to update the apps too? ### 3/5 — Excellent, with a damaging flaw *2014-06-22* As someone who appreciates the benefits of a public library, this app is a boon as I'd be able to mange my account on the go. It's nice to be able to add friend recommendations or books i see on the out and about to my holds list. My only problem with this app, and it's the only thing preventing it from a five star rating. When you refine a search you're presented with several search options including genre. Within the genres category the selection is severely limited. You have the whole of fantasy and sf included within literature. I read nearly nothing but those within those genres. I'm unable to browse through to find the latest arrivals; instead I have to sort through thousands of books. There's also a lack of comic/graphics options. It's as If the programmer of this app has a beef with these genres and chose not to include them, even though the option already exists within the OPL website. ### 4/5 — Great with few glitches *2019-12-01* The app saves so much of my time. I can pick out books swing by after work and take home to my children. Only issue I’ve had is when the app won’t open in the actual library. Works well in car in parking lot but once inside I can’t pull up my barcode to checkout. Total pain. I’ve tried everything to fix this problem and it only occurs with this app. ### 4/5 — iPad??? *2014-09-17* Are you making an iPad compatible version soon? That is the only downside to this app. ### 4/5 — OPL App is great *2012-09-29* I love this app. It has made my life so much easier and simpler by always having access to which books are checked out and when they are due back. I can manage my holds & suspensions and search for new books with ease. I use it ALL the time since my children and I frequent the library so often. I do wish that they had an iPad version. The only downside to this app is when I search for books and the book is not available, it doesn't tell me how long the queue line is until after I have put it on hold. It also doesn't tell me how many copies they have of that book to estimate how fast the queue will move.
