One suggestion is that once all the animals are chosen, there should be 1 final song with all the farm animals. ### 3/5 — Entertaining, but no rotation? *2011-05-23* My almost 2 year old really likes this app. The navigation of spinning the wheel of animals is a little rough, but he doesn't seem to mind. My only irritation with it is that it only works in one landscape side, and doesn't rotate when you tilt the device. On the iPad, the side it works on is the opposite of how a book-like cover stands up, so we have to flip the iPad and hold it up manually every time he opens this app. This seems like a fairly basic thing that should be fixed by now but its a major annoyance. Of all the many iPhone/iPad apps I have its the only one where rotation is an issue. ### 4/5 — Son likes it but… *2010-09-29* Crashes randomly, and has some drawing glitches. The animal spinner wheel is really hard to control, especially for children. The audio is very American, but that's quite nice in this case as it is very good. The controls are too touchy for a 2 year old, and she can't understand the rules of the game at all, such as they are. But yet, it's her favorite game, and she'll go back to it again and again, trying to figure out what's going on with her 22 month old mind. Other than choosing animals, which was not set up great, there was no interactivity for my granddaughter. Having animals that don't belong on a farm may amuse older kids and adults, but it made no sense to a toddler learning the song. Once they memorize it I'm sure the novelty will wear off, with the same 8 animals and the same screen everytime. Any one thinking of getting this app read this first and be ready to restore your phone if you hit the same bug. I lost 18 GB of data due to a bug in this app. I wanted to get an idea about how it works to show it to my children. After playing with it for a few seconds, I noticed it appeared to be a bit flaky. I decided to exit using the HOME button and live with what I got for the 99 cents. As it was turning OFF the phone squeaked and froze while the Apple logo showed up. The phone then came back up in the home screen locked . When I went back in I found that almost 50% of my apps got messed up. Names, icons, etc. of apps where mingled. Starting one app brings up another. I could not even find where this app disappeared. I tried to reboot the phone but it did not help. I tried to re-sync in iTunes with no success and all my music, videos, etc got removed. I had to start from scratch by deleting all messed up apps and re-sync to get all my stuff in again, 18 GB of Data!!!!. It is still in progress and I decided to write this so that any one thinking of getting this app is aware of the poor quality and carelessness of the developers who appear to be trying just to make a few bucks. I also blame Apple for allowing such apps into their store. There should be strict quality controls. I hope there is a way to refund my 99 cents as this app does not deserve it. The company should be named Lose-ch-Ware instead.
