It’s not easy to get to the article you want to read and frequentIy give up. Content has now disappeared. Even deleting and downloading the app again hasn't enabled me to restore it. It doesn't look good for Olympus. The April 2016 downloads and then opens to... Nothing, well actually a white screen. Please go back to your drawing board and sort this out. ### 2/5 — Update = still problems *2016-04-14* Update from my previous review: Received a notification to delete and re-download the app to resolve problems. This fixed the "unzip failed" error on the April issue, but two interface problems remain: (1) I still don't see any way to remove previously-downloaded issues from my device. (2) When I clicked a link in a story to go to an external page, there was no way to return to the magazine; I had to kill the app. So, still some work left to do! Original review: I like the magazine, but the app update required to read the April 2016 issue seems to be broken... throws an "unzip failed" error on the "index.html" file. I tried to contact the vendor about this, but the support link on the App Store seems to be dead. Also, I can't find any way to remove previously-read issues from your device, although I might be missing it because there's also no onscreen help. Seems like after OM bought Olympus they really dropped the ball in regards to anything in Olympus photography. Download takes ages and doesn't seem to happen at all in background and under these conditions the app is pointless. Each magazine issue has articles, tips, reader photos, contests, and project suggestions. The layout and format of the magazines are fun as well. It would get 5 stars but in the year plus I've had it, it has frozen on me twice and I've needed to reinstall. Both times I think were after an iOS update. Not a big issue, since the magazines are free, just a bit of a time consumer. Highly recommended for photographers and Olympus camera owners. ### 4/5 — What about reading it on El Capitan? *2016-11-14* Currently this app is for the iPhone and iPad, it would be nice to be able to read it on my iMac!!! ### 3/5 — Good content, UI needs work *2016-08-20* The Olympus content is pretty good and interesting. However, the navigation is not like turning pages in a magazine... Many parts of the page can go somewhere else but it's totally un-obvious when that is the case.
