### 4/5 — Percentages of finesses

*2026-05-23, version 5.62*

I love Bridge. This is Bridge game is pretty good. My big complaint is that finesses hardly ever work! In real Bridge, it work at least 50% of the time.

### 2/5 — Bridge tournaments not for beginners

*2025-12-14, version 5.60*

Too often the hands provided are in a word - terrible. One Jack as the only face card in the hand, for example.

Perhaps more advanced players could manage, but I find the tournaments quite frustrating and discouraging.

### 3/5 — Decent game, annoying bidding

*2025-12-10, version 5.60*

Often computer partner does not respect settings. I set 5 card majors, program sometimes calls 4 cards anyways. Often too aggressive, bids its own 5 cards suit twice and thrice despite the fact opponents are bidding and I am passing. Annoying sounds that cannit be turned off in settings.

### 2/5 — Awful layout, no way to adjust display

*2025-09-11, version 5.60*

Very sorry I impulsively purchased this app. The “cards” are huge on my phone so a long suit often breaks across two rows. Horrible to process. Suits display low to high left to right and can’t be changed, and I am used to the reverse. Once trump is set, the suits in your do not reflect this (with trump on the left), your hand just starts the same. Very clunky. And I haven’t found any bidding hints or analyses but I will keep checking. Rather than provide useful adjustments instead you can change the table pattern and the tablecloth! Ridiculous!

Apparently Omar Sharif’s name has been dangled as bait to sell a rather poor bridge app. Very disappointing.

### 2/5 — Funky

*2024-01-12, version 5.58*

No provision to replay hand. No way to claim.

### 2/5 — Disappointed

*2023-11-20, version 5.57*

I used to use this app over 10 years ago. I liked it a lot. Then got Bridge Baron. Which was great but expensive. With my latest phone I went back to this and am not happy. I like to play a simple Goren style. All the convoluted conventions you use are too much.
For example I want to set it to require me or my partner to have five trump to open. There are so many conventions the simple game is lost.

### 1/5 — Tournaments ?

*2022-11-01, version 5.54*

The app is stuck in some sort of “Tournement” mode. Can’t play simple Bridge. Will delete app if it doesn’t correct itself?

### 4/5 — Percentages of finesses

*2022-09-27, version 5.54*

I love Bridge. This is Bridge game is pretty good. My big complaint is that finesses hardly ever work! In real Bridge, it work at least 50% of the time.

### 1/5 — New cards

*2022-08-21, version 5.54*

The new cards are AWFUl 😩 Terrible little cutie cards!
Can I get the old cards back?

### 1/5 — Need a partner because the board plays almost against me as it’s partner

*2022-07-06, version 5.54*

### 4/5 — Score

*2022-06-14, version 5.54*

I would like it to show the score after every hand.

### 4/5 — Great app

*2022-05-04, version 5.54*

I love the app, but when I’m playing rubber sometimes the screen freezes. It won’t let me advance to another game. Any suggestions?

### 1/5 — Dishonest

*2022-03-24, version 5.51*

Rigs tournament deals, gives the impression that Omar Sharif endorsed this app even though it’s bridge play is terrible and they delete negative reviews so don’t believe the ratings. Notice how few reviews have appeared in the last year? I have had 2 negative reviews deleted. Developer is only creating an app to provide income not authentic bridge play. In response to your reply, none of the reviews that disappeared had inappropriate language but I understand that the App Store has had problems with disappearing reviews. It is something of a “co-incidence” that of my reviews that disappeared the thing they had in common was that they were critical of the game. If this has been commonplace it is only fair that prospective buyers be aware that the ratings may not be reliable. I said the deals were rigged: to expand, the distribution of the cards is often deliberately fixed against the player (e.g. holding queen in my hand, the opponent on my left will typically hold the king making a finesse impossible - other reviewers have noted this). Real (authentic) bridge has random deals even in duplicate bridge. Playing games where the distribution is predictable makes for extremely dull play.

### 4/5 — Good play but Need better “ROI”

*2021-10-19, version 5.50*

The program plays the game pretty well. Would be nice to know what conventions it plays, as some bids don’t make sense unless “oh, that 2 heart bid (holding a singleton 2)” must have meant “transfer to spades”... oops! Also, would be nice to have better Return On Investment — as, for example, a tournament that has a “price” of 20 points in order to win 25, which means I drop 20 points if I lose but only gain 5 if I win.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Contracts

*2025-11-14, version 5.60*

The games are arranged so that E/W gets the MC majority of contacts. That’s not acceptable. I am deleting this program

### 1/5 — Rubber bridge

*2025-03-12, version 5.59*

WORST. PARTNER EVER!

### 1/5 — Lots of mistakes

*2024-10-04, version 5.58*

Very primitive with lots conventional mistakes

### 1/5 — Omar Sheriff Bridge

*2024-05-28, version 5.31*

The cards layout and type are still the most sort after and manageable of all the bridge types yet produced and should never be allowed to take over from the original.

### 1/5 — Rubber bridge

*2024-05-22, version 5.58*

WORST. PARTNER EVER!

### 1/5 — Hopeless overbidding

*2024-03-19, version 5.58*

I have used this app for many years but have now decided to give up on it. The level of ludicrously optimistic bidding has made it no longer playable.

### 1/5 — Contracts

*2024-03-11, version 5.58*

Sick of getting hand after unbiddable hand. This is a game and it’s good to play defense but the app is primarily to play

### 1/5 — Beginner

*2023-08-27*

What I don’t like is my “ partner” opening 1 NT. With 8 points and no face cards. I’m always skipping to the next deal because cards-less fool puts me in terrible contracts

### 1/5 — Awful

*2023-06-16, version 5.57*

The % of times you will get very low points is unreasonable. Opponents get great hands a statistically unreal # of times. The card order, no matter what you choose for your pref, winds up putting blacks and reds together, making your hand hard to read.
And this is the exact same game as Bridge V+ only at a higher price

### 1/5 — Frustrating!

*2023-05-31, version 5.56*

So frustrating! A lot of times my partner will open with 9 points or less in his hand. Or as a response to my opening will take me to the next level with 3 or 4 points in his. I would not recommend this app. to anyone. 0 stars

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Horrible partners

*2025-08-07, version 5.60*

Playing bridge with AI but AI that knows squat about bidding and playing. Opens with 5 points. Plays heart when previous player trumped it. Explores all the less suitable options until I’m stuck with 7 NT if you want to learn, or merely want a pleasant game , do NOT buy this app.

### 5/5 — Wrong game with results sent

*2023-04-28, version 5.56*

I have gotten results of games I didn’t participate in. Just now received result… I played the game 4 players but my name is not mentioned. It’s like I didn’t play!!!
Don’t understand??????

### 5/5 — Dr.Abdel-Fattah Toukan

*2022-08-15, version 5.54*

A great game to enjoy and keep playing with out repeatedly hands and does not need an internet to play. I recommend it for anyone who likes Bridge .

### 5/5 — my point

*2022-06-24, version 5.54*

absolutly love it

### 5/5 — Bridge

*2022-01-02, version 5.50*

I wish there were a button to press to go back if you erroneously hit the wrong key.
Such as just now I meant to hit pass and accidentally hit 7 clubs!!!!

### 5/5 — Time tested

*2021-10-19, version 5.50*

I have been playing this game by Omar Sharif for years and years. It is user-friendly. I am a much better bridge player now than I was before I started playing this game. The bidding is heart of winning and this program will help you be a better bidder.

### 5/5 — Rave on Omar’s app

*2021-09-28, version 5.50*

I can play for hours with never an ad or any other distractions. Love this app!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2021-03-27, version 5.47*

I really enjoy this app. Play it every day and have improved my game significantly over time. The interface is largely intuitive and easy to use. Very occasionally the computer players make bids that have me scratching my head, but that is rare. (Though I just played a hand where I bid 4NT and North responded with 5H, but had no aces!)

One suggested improvement: the “Hint” button plays a card for you. Better to have it highlight the card so the player can decide for him/herself whether to play.

(Also, the Tournament section requires tickets to play. The tickets are for sale, but the app constantly gives bonus tickets for free, so I’ve never had to buy tickets. Not a complaint! Just don’t understand why the bonus tickets are given. )

### 5/5 — Congratulations

*2021-03-11, version 5.47*

Well done! You listened and it is back to the app we all enjoyed for years.

### 5/5 — Best I’ve found

*2021-03-04, version 5.47*

Update: Yay! Repeated requests for reviews of this app have been done away with in the latest update. Please update your app! 3/4/21

I’ve been playing with this app since it first came out. It’s the best it’s ever been in the current update. I generally play the tournaments and at times have not understood my partner’s bidding, leads or play. But I can’t specify which game or tournament. PLEASE stop asking me to review this app.
