## What is Omega Linkr?

NOTE: An Omega Linkr system must be installed in your vehicle for this app to operate.
NOTE: Locations are sent by SMS message with a link to Google Maps. 
NOTE: Continued use of GPS running in the background can decrease battery life.

Models:
LINKR-MOBILE-2G is an international (outside the USA) system that works on any GSM cellular network with a user supplied SIM card. 
LINKR-M1 uses the Verizon network in the USA (does not work in Puerto Rico). Activation info and subscriptions are available at www.OmegaLinkr.com.

Omega Linkr is a smartphone interface that gives you control of vehicle convenience & security features from virtually anywhere in the world! This app can directly control Omega's Excalibur line of remote start/security systems & Omegalink vehicle specific remote start kits. It can also be hardwired directly to the vehicle.


Omega Linkr allows you to safely and securely remote start, lock - unlock, or open your car's trunk from virtually anywhere in the world.
Receive alerts and notifications if your vehicle is violated when installed with any compatible remote start - security system.

Wow the app seems poorly written and cannot scale to properly fit the screen at all. As a software supportive interface for a subscription based hardware solution this is just garbage. The very least thing would be to have buttons that fit on the device screen. How about landscape or iPad. There’s a ton of potential here but you need to hire some coders with talent. The Gps icon shouldn’t spin. It’s just dumb. Disappointed in my purchase.

I now have the Linkr M1 installed on both of my vehicles.  They both work flawlessly with the linkr app with no problems.  I was able to add the second car with ease on both iPhones that control the cars.  Just make sure if your adding a second smart phone with the linkr app that the primary and secondary phone numbers are in the same order.  Initially purchased the linkr M1 for remote starting with confirmation, but another function that is excellent is the on demand gps location feature.  Very happy with the linkr app and excalibur!

I really like that I can track my vehicle from the cheaper service plan. The different control skins are cool since I can change it for each of my cars. Hope they release more skins soon.

Our software team has been nice enough to add support for new Android OS updates including improved compatibility for the LG V20 and Samsung S8/S8+ phones. 

We've also streamlined the installer setup/activation/test process and updated all language packs to have more friendly feature explanations and warning descriptions. 

Of course, we made sure to bring some overall performance improvements and bug fixes where needed.
