I can only play 2 ganes tops before my phone is overheating from how intensive it is, even waiting for my phone to cool down fully I'm waiting 15-20 minutes between each game only for sometimes it to lag regardless of anything I can control. Worse than that is sometimes the game crashes and it won't let you back into the game, even allowing you to technically be in 2 games at the same time. Now you can lose games twice as fast! Overall, besides all the performance issues, it's still a 4 out of 5 game. Like others have mentioned it's a lot to keep up with on one screen, and the mainly long wait times (an average of 3 minutes I'd say for a 15 minute competitive game) make it a game I play maybe one or two games a day, for maybe 2 games a week. Any more than that and it's not worth the effort ### 4/5 — Good, but unpolished *2023-10-31* A few nitpicks i have with this game: - the non-beginner friendly matchmaking system makes it hard to have fun early on and ultimately stops people from playing it before giving this game the chance it deserves. - the controls for mobile are quite uncomfortable and hard to play, especially if playing against PC players. I think having a mobile version of the game is a good idea but feels too rushed and unpolished as of right now. - Omega Strikers doesn’t appear when I search for it in the IOS settings. For some reason, whenever I try and open Omega Strikers I have to confirm that i want to sign in using my Apple ID and am forced to type in my passcode everytime I open the game on my phone. I think the reason is because Omega Strikers doesn’t appear in the IOS settings (though I don’t know why). PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP. Other than that, if you manage to break through the beginner barrier due to poor matchmaking and become familiar with the mechanics of the game, Omega Strikers definitely is one of the best fast-paced team games I’ve played ever! With unique mechanics and items, a variety of distinct characters and character music themes, interesting designs on maps that make the game more fun and less redundant, and frequent developer updates and balance changes (often shown on YouTube), it’s quite addictive and extremely enjoyable, especially with a group of friends! (P.S. New game modes would be an exciting addition to the game as well!!!) ### 2/5 — Broken game *2023-10-14* Ever since a game crashed I got leaver prnalty and I wasn’t able to play ever since. And I can say that all of your development and everyone working on this game should be proud of what they made. Bugs and other things that omega strikers had problems with are gone but there is still much more fix. Like when I open the game and does not tell me to update. Or the problem with teammates leaving, leaving you to do 3v2 or worse 3v1s for now these are the most problematic problems in omega strikers, but again this is a very early game and I’m not judging too much. Although these two problems are thaw things that hold Me back putting a 5 star, still this game has brought so much fun then any other game I had I hope you guys keep making this game fun for all people. I have just started and will update with more gameplay time in the future. *thing before I start though devs, I’ve downloaded this title to an S22 ultra, 4th gen iPad 11 pro, and an iPad mini 6 and it seems that the vocals and lead guitar play exclusively louder through the left side speakers. I wasn’t sure if this was intentional, and just wanted to voice for the audiophiles out there on staff. It’s not a problem by any means, just wanted to offer genuine input is all. I AM TRULY EXCITED FOR THE TITLE, AND LOOK FORWARD TO PLAYING YOU GAME INDEED!!!💪🤓 ### 3/5 — Great Foundation, Frustrating Execution *2023-05-24* The idea and foundation of this game are great, with varied classes, bonuses, and play styles. Each class feels pleasantly unique from the next. Unfortunately, the game has severe balancing and polishing needs that make it near unplayable for me. The same characters are almost always picked in every game and others are hardly ever seen due to strength differences among the classes. As an Era main I hardly ever see other Era, Drekar, or Kai players on the field. There’s always at least one Juliette, Juno, or Zentaro Combine this with the game’s lag issues (even with otherwise near perfect connection) , serious battery drain, and sometimes frustrating knockout mechanic (with upgrades certain characters can repeatedly one or 2 shot knock you out of the match for ten seconds), the game can be more frustrating than fun. With updates and time I believe this could be a good game, as for now I would exercise caution before getting too invested in it. ### 3/5 — Very fun but has annoying bugs *2023-05-20* The game is very fun to play. Way more so than what I would have originally expected. However there are several bugs that will make long term play really annoying. For one I get random crashes during matches (on iPhone 8) with no real indication when it happens. If I play 5 games about 2 or 3 the app will crash. The frame rate bug is fixable in settings, however the settings reset after every game or everytime u enter the app. These things need to be fix if I’m potentially gonna spend anymore money ### 5/5 — Great game for soccer and battle fans. *2023-05-19* I’ve only had this game are a little while, but it’s already very well polished. It scratches the itch to play soccer, but not wanting to play sports games. And also wanting to beat people up. Fantastic game. It has some flaws that I hope they fix. It’s not fun versing global top 5 when you’re barely gold rank. ### 1/5 — Awful mobile controls *2023-05-16, version 2.1.8* Mobile controls are absolutely awful and you’re at a clear disadvantage when playing against pc players who have optimal aim and reflexes with keyboard and mouse. Yes I lost 17/18 sets. Lost half my games to repetitive own goals by teammates. No I am not a good player. The issue is the opposition teams were substantially more skilled. Never did my opponents own goal on themselves. In most matches my team couldn’t even take down opponents barriers. While the opponent usually took down our barriers in moments. The game is brutally unbalanced. There is clearly a vast difference in team skill levels when you’re a new player attempting to learn. As is, unless you’re extremely good at the game and can hard carry other new players, expect to get penetrated every match. No Money Is Required To Progress! *2023-08-31* No joke, this game is 100% skill. No P2W. Only things that can be purchased are cosmetic, or characters (which you can get by playing). Characters are very expensive to buy, so its better off actually playing to get the characters. Every character is unique, even characters that are “OP” can be beaten if you have enough skill. Devs even listen to the community, features that the community has been wanting (such as voting for ending the game if a teamate leaves). Of course the actual gameplay is fun, and fast paced. It has so many different strikers with the own skill. The games are a little slow but no less fun to play. My only issue is that sometimes I doesn’t let me connect to a game. I’ll wait for 3-5 minutes with no connection. I’ve tried playing in different locations but it’s just the same and it used to work in the locations I’ve tired. Idk so I’m uninstalling it and reinstalling so I hope this fixes the bug because I don’t know what else to do… ### 5/5 — pushing innovation *2023-06-12* My friend told me about this game and how it has LoL developers on it so I played 4 games and I’ve been on the road since, since it was so he also told me it’s on mobile. Searching Omega Strikers brought up this game but below it was Monopoly go? idk the name but really, it’s entirely midieval to let alone have monopoly on my phone screen, have it be the second app after searching this game, and making the next generation of mobile games come 14 years late; yes I looked up angry bird’s release date. It’s too much to demand a playerbase yea I get it old people like monopoly but there are other people other than 28 year olds that can hold their phone horizontally. Apple needs to demand respect for themselves, and their consumers and make a game tab that doesn’t include absolute and utter brain rot monopoly and 50 second interval advertisements. This is a real video game. You won’t flinch when you see it on your Home Screen. ### 5/5 — Most fun I have had since Rocket League *2023-06-08* I played mobile as it launched early and the game was super intuitive. Definitely recommend using a controller on that end if possible but once you learn the rotations and strikers it has such a high skill ceiling.
