## What is Omikuji Fortune?

One visit a day. A shrine in your pocket.

Omikuji is the traditional Japanese fortune slip, drawn at shrines for centuries. This app brings the whole ritual to your morning — thirty quiet seconds before the day begins.

■ The Daily Ritual

1. Pass the vermilion torii gate
2. Shake the wooden kuji box — feel it rattle
3. The stick slides out, the paper unfolds
4. Your fortune for the day is revealed

One draw per day, just like a real shrine. Come back tomorrow.

■ Eight Fortunes

From the legendary Dai-Daikichi (Supreme Blessing, 1% — some go years without drawing one) down to Daikyo (Great Misfortune, said to use up all your bad luck at once). Each slip includes:

· Your overall fortune, written in the voice of a shrine oracle
· Love, Work, Health, Travel and Money — each with its own reading
· A lucky item, lucky color and lucky number, all delightfully Japanese
· A closing proverb to carry through the day
