## What is OmJay?

OmJay brings everything for your daily devotion together in one place: Temples around the world, daily prayers from waking to sleeping, Vedic chants with full text and audio, devotional songs, festivals, and today's auspicious and inauspicious timings.

TEMPLES AROUND THE WORLD
- Discover temples across India, the USA, the UK, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia and more
- Browse by deity (Shiva, Krishna, Devi, Ganesha, Hanuman, Sai Baba, Balaji and many others), by country, or by tag
- Search instantly by temple name, city, state or deity, even offline
- Temple pages with photos, address, directions, phone and email
- See temples near your city first: just choose your city, no location permission needed

DAILY PRAYERS
- Shlokas for each moment of the day, from waking to sleeping
- The prayer for the current time is highlighted for you
- Devanagari text, transliteration and meaning, with audio recitations
- Repeat mode and background playback with lock-screen controls

VEDAS FOR EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK
- Today's Vedic chants shown first, with a full weekly schedule
- Complete texts in Devanagari and transliteration to read along
- Recitations with skip and repeat; the screen stays on while you chant

DEVOTIONAL SONGS
- Bhajans, stotrams and mantras with lyrics and meaning
- Filter by deity, listen in the app, or watch on YouTube
- Share your own devotional recording with the community (every song is reviewed before it appears)

FESTIVALS
- See the festivals of each month, with the deities honoured and the songs sung
- Read about each festival and explore temples of its deity

RAHU KAAL, YAMAGANDAM AND GULIKA KAAL
- Today's timings at a glance, calculated from sunrise and sunset for your time zone
- The bar turns red during Rahu Kaal, so you know when to wait

MOON, TITHI AND EKADASHI
- Tonight's moon phase, today's tithi and paksha, and the lunar month
- Upcoming Ekadashi (with names such as Nirjala, Devshayani and Mokshada), Purnima and Amavasya
- Guru Purnima and Buddha Purnima, worked out from the lunar calendar
- The moon glows on Ekadashi, Purnima and Amavasya as a gentle reminder

HELP GROW THE DIRECTORY
- Add a temple that's missing, or suggest an update to phone numbers, emails and details
- Every submission is reviewed before it is published

SHOP
- Puja essentials and devotional items from trusted sellers (available in selected countries)

MADE WITH CARE
- No account or login needed
- Works offline after the first load
- Timings are calculated on your phone, without using your location
- Some listings and products are sponsored and are always clearly labelled

Timings and observance days follow the traditional sunrise rule for your phone's time zone. Your local temple or tradition may occasionally differ by a day; for ceremonies, please follow your local panchang or priest.
