Identify any catch in seconds, estimate its length, and save it to a private fishing journal. OmniDex stores only a city-level location, so your secret fishing spot stays yours. Point the live camera at a fish and OmniDex matches it against a focused catalog of 120 freshwater and saltwater species. Review the result, correct the estimated length if needed, and keep the catch in your personal Journal and species Dex. Your catch record stays local on the device in the initial release. Camera permission is requested only when you scan. Location is optional and is used only to derive a city-level label; raw latitude and longitude are stripped before a record is saved. The journal includes saved catches, species progress, achievements, a private city-level map when you choose to add a location, and a poster export for sharing.
